NYE in Wilmington

The cottage was perfect for the three of us. The location is right in the middle of downtown within walking distance of everything. You could walk past it and not even notice, so it feels like it’s a secret spot. It was also great having the parking space right by the back door. I will say that the outside noise is certainly noticeable late at night, but there are sound machines in both bedrooms that cancel most of it out. I will definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay for a family wedding

We stayed for a weekend for a family wedding. Both the church and reception were just a few blocks away making it the perfect place to stay. We really enjoyed how easy it was to walk to so many places in downtown Wilmington also. The house itself is so well done, everything is beautifully designed & immaculately clean. We would love to stay again!

Downtown Abbey…perfection!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous home in downtown Wilmington! Perfect location. Beautiful modern decor. Very easy to communicate with host, JoAnn. She thought of all the amenities even down to the nightlights and makeup mirrors! Two (2) off street parking spaces were a bonus. Quaint outdoor space as well. We loved everything about this home and would definitely return.

We've created this space so you may enjoy exploring our beautiful historic downtown and then return to relax in a safe and comfortable place. A detailed House Manual is located inside the Abbey and a Google Hub lets you control the thermostat and Nest speakers and see who's at the doors.

What makes this property unique

1 King BDR with private full bath, 1 Queen BDR with full bath share. Lux linens, blankets, quilts & plush towels are provided. We provide shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap, Washer/Dryer, hair dryer, curling iron, iron & ironing board.

There is free, off street parking for 2 cars directly behind the Abbey as well as an Electric Vehicle Charging Station. Please ask host for details.

Central Heat/AC. All rooms have ceiling fans, window blinds & TV's (65"/50"/32") Complimentary Netflix, digital antenna & Nest Speakers.

We have a REVERSE OSMOSIS (RO) Filtration system for chemical free ice & drinking water. The kitchen is fully equipped and has basic essentials: coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil & vinegar.

The house is on 1 level except for a 2" step up from the mud room into the kitchen.
