About Michael Biedermann
We are parents of four young children. We wanted a beach house to escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life and focus on family.
Michael Biedermann purchased this House in 2000
Why Michael Biedermann chose South Haven
Historic Monroe Park is our neighborhood which is directly adjacent to the North Beach on South Haven's North Shore. The key to this location is there are no huge hills nor endless staircases to climb up and down when going to and from the beach. Kind of an important thing to remember with small children and grandparents who want to join you down at the waters edge. Remember… 'Location. Location. Location.'
What makes this House unique
We enjoy the easy access to the North Beach as well as the less than ten minute walk to downtown South Haven. Once the groceries are purchased, there is no need for your car again. Even if you do need something from the store, you can walk two blocks to North Side Memories which is a small, privately owned convenience store and deli. We have said it so many times but it is true... once you cross the draw bridge, it feels as though all of life's struggles seem to be lifted. We hope you are able to experience the same feeling!

Great family house!
We really enjoyed our long weekend at this house with some of our kids and grandkids ! Lots of room to spread out. We loved the history of the house and the character. So close to the beach we walked there a few times each day and walked to Bunde’s Bakery every morning. Owner was always quick to respond to questions! Very clean too!
Well appointed property
We loved our time at the Oakland North! It was a great place for our extended family vacation. South Haven and the beach were both fantastic!
Beautiful home in a wonderful location.
The Oakland North is located at 64 North Shore Drive, South Haven, Michigan 49090. The house is located on the east side of North Shore Drive and faces west with a view directly down Avery Street. At the west end of Avery, approximately one block from the house, is South Haven's beautiful North Beach and Lake Michigan. There is much to do in and around South Haven. The very best thing to do is simply relax on the beach, listen to the waves roll in and do nothing!
