Welcome to 'Two Shores'!
This 4BR/4BA luxury home features 3 Master bedrooms each with a King bed and a private bathroom w/ shower. Two of the King Master bedrooms face the Gulf of Mexico with access onto a covered Gulf side deck with water views. The 4th bedroom offers a Double bed and Bunkbed (2 Twins) and access to a separate full bathroom w/ bathtub/shower.
The open living space with Gulf views is accentuated with beautiful tray ceilings while Quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances finish the custom kitchen. The spacious, covered Gulf side deck allows for comfortable lounging with views of sparkling Gulf waters. Modern conveniences include 2 Blu-ray players, Smart TVs in every bedroom and 65" TV in great room and 250MB internet speeds! Please note, this is a non-smoking property.
Outdoor amenities include a beach cart, hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning station, park grill and covered entry and parking with plenty of shaded space for the little ones. Located within the gated Kinja Bay community, guests can enjoy the large community swimming pool and access to the sandy Bay beach and community dock with private boat slip. Beach access is only a short walk from the property.
Guests at ‘Two Shores’ not only have easy, official access to the East End Gulf beach at the 11th street public walkway, but also to an amazing experience few SGI visitors even think about, let alone have such easy access to—the shores of the St. George Sound. Bring your kayak or paddle boards and you will have a perfect sandy launch to go explore the bay where so much marine life is easily seen among the estuarine sea grasses that prevail in the area. The Kinja Bay community is adjacent to hundreds of feet of undeveloped shoreline including the “Sam’s Bayou” area. (Look it up on Google Maps). Practically an aquarium right in front of you, multiple species of crab, baitfish, large mullet, redfish have been sighted from shore as well as the very long dock that leads to the community’s boat slips. While the sun is setting, often guests take advantage of the recently renovated gazebo at the water’s edge or take walks along the sandy, pristine shores. When the tide has gone out, a sandy spit juts out from the shore and guests commonly explore this as well as the tide pools that have a variety of sea creatures. Kids love bringing their nets to get up close views of some of these animals.
Guests of ‘Two Shores’ have complimentary use of the owner’s boat slip. The community dock has a water spigot for cleaning/rinsing your vessel, gear, etc, but a hose is not provided. All users of the boat slip and the amenities assume all risks to their vessels and personal injury in doing so. The maximum size boat is 20 feet. Boaters should take note that the boat slip is in the open bay (not a protected harbor) and therefore subject to rough seas when winds are greater than 12 mph and come from any direction not from the south. Boat owners are advised to use their judgement in deciding to store their boat in the slip.
