Fantastic house to hang out at or use as home base for sightseeing!

We visited Gettysburg as a halfway point to connect with old friends we hadn’t seen in years. The house was the perfect meet up location! Plenty of room for our tween/teen kids to go off and read, play board games, watch TV, or use the arcade game on site. Plus, a well outfitted kitchen for us to cook breakfast and dinner, and for the adults to stay up talking and catching up while kids slept soundly. We were just there one night, but it was a great space - lots of sleeping options/extra bedding so we could set kids up comfortably, extremely clean and tidy, quiet and easy to get to/park at. We didn’t explore locally because we’d all been to Gettysburg before and were just here to hang out together, but the location would be a perfect hub to site-see from.

Best VRBO we've ever stayed in!

OK, our family travels a good bit, and we have stayed in many VRBO/Airb*nbs, and this is hands down the nicest property we have ever had the pleasure to rent. First off, it is a beautiful historic home that has been wonderfully renovated/expanded. It maintains great vintage character with all of the necessary modern luxuries. The upstairs bedrooms are HUGE. Both with individual living rooms & private baths. So much room, wonderfully appointed, and tastefully decorated for the holidays. Pawel (the owner) is beyond Superhost status, he's like a SUPERsuper host. It is in the perfect location in downtown Gettysburg, and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants in 5 minutes. And the place was clean, clean, clean. Spotless. Immaculate. Also very nice touches like a cart outside to assist you with your luggage down the little sidewalk from your private parking space. Many different coffee selections, and an impressive spice rack. Even extra dog food & bowls! Did I mention the arcade game? The backyard was beautiful, it was a little cold when we were there so we didn't take advantage of it, but we will upon our return. Our family kept walking around saying "Best VRBO ever!" I'm not kidding. Don't forget a penny to put on the stone wall! You'll see ;) I will never stay anywhere else in Gettysburg. This place was amazing.

Beautiful Home

We could not have been more pleased with this home. It was very spacious and beautiful decorated and very clean. The host pays close attention to the “comforts” of home. There was plenty of towels in the bathrooms, toilet paper, hand soap, ect. He literally thought of everything a guest might want or need including the Keurig and a variety of K-Cups. I loved seeing the “coins” on the wall and we added a few of our own! We will definitely stay at this home again when in Gettysburg. Communication was quick when we had questions and host was very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your home.
