We had the best stay at this beautiful home right in the heart of downtown Gettysburg! It was so convenient being so close to all of the shops, restaurants, museums, and the battlefield! The house has everything you need to have an amazing stay, and the host was wonderful and very helpful! We definitely recommend staying here to anyone that is looking!
This property is historic, but has great updates like wonderful showers! Christina was very quick and attentive with responses to our questions. We would definitely stay here again upon another visit to Gettysburg.
House is in great location, walking distance to center of Gettysburg. Maybe more attention to detail from cleaning crew between renters could be used. Chips and crumbs on floor/furniture in several rooms. Nothing major and wouldnt stop us from recommending to future renters.
Our college group class of 1985, 4 girlfriends stayed at this lovely home. the house was conveniently located close to the college and the town and all of the activities were walkable. Great place to stay and catch up after all the events. Would definitely return.
Four friends came in for a long weekend to visit Gettysburg and this home was perfect. Great location and very clean and convenient to everything. The check in process was smooth. The home is historic and well furnished with updated bathrooms and kitchen, which provided the best of all! Definitely recommend!!
This is a lovely updated home in historic Gettysburg. The rooms are spacious and it was very clean. It had all the basics in the kitchen and is close to downtown. We would rent it again.
It has been on my Father in Law’s bucket list to come to Gettysburg. We made this trip into a long weekend with Family, and made wonderful memories. Christina made staying at her beautiful, historical home wonderful from start to finish. It is walking distance to Downtown for great shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The property is clean, with wonderful history and Christina was prompt with getting back to us with answers to questions, along with address's if needed. The check in and out process was straightforward. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that would like to match the history of Gettysburg to where they’re staying.
Christina was a great communicator from the very beginning. The home location could not have been more perfect! Walking to shops and restaurants ( just a block or two) and parking out back! The home was clean, well stocked, and historic yet very comfortable. Highly recommend
7 of us stayed on this property for college graduation weekend. Great location, close to everything downtown and the college. We walked everywhere. The house has a historical feel which we enjoyed being in Gettysburg. The house has a beautiful back yard and we especially enjoyed sitting on the upper deck drinking coffee in the mornings. It was easy to get in touch with Christina and she answered all our questions. We would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay. Location was great, although traffic noise is loud.
Walkable to everything. Host responded quickly, and was extremely helpful before, and during stay.
This property is so lovely and so is the owner of the home. Everything is taken care of with lots of thoughtfulness to the details of everything that we would need. The location of the home is within walking distance of museums, stores as well as restaurants. My family stayed there for three days and we had plenty of room and found the home very welcoming and comfortable. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. We look forward to meeting there again!
I brought my parents to Gettysburg for a couple of days. We really enjoyed this property. Clean and quiet and beautifully decorated. Also a perfect location just a few dozen feet from the city Square. So much to do in Gettysburg. Hope to return soon!
This beautifully restored 19th century home is in an ideal location for sampling all that Gettysburg has to offer. 4 large bedrooms and 3 well appointed full baths provided plenty of space. The two front bedrooms face a relatively busy street but street noise was not a problem. The kitchen was clean and bright and the living areas were guite comfortable. Parking for 3 mid-sized cars was a little tight but adequate. The inside stairway was narrow and a bit steep and did not have railings, so climbing or descending the stairs was a little treacherous. That was the only negative that i encountered. The location was ideal and the house was clean and very comfortable. Check in was easy and the hosts were super responsive.
I booked this VRBO to serve as the home base for a golf trip with some old friends, as well as to enjoy some of the amazing history of Gettysburg PA.
Christina, the host, was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive with my questions upon booking, leading up to and during our stay. The property was clean, comfortable and had all necessary amenities. Its location was perfect, just steps away from several dining options and just a short drive to both our golf destinations and the historic sites we visited. Pricing was reasonable. We were all very pleased with our stay and I would highly recommend!!!
The property, with bedrooms and baths for three couples, suited us very well. The living space allowed us to gather together. The kitchen and appliances functioned very well. The location is perfect for walking the town. Offstreet parking allowed us to park the cars and leave them. We walked to restaurants and shops. Although we didn’t need her once we arrived, our host was responsive to our questions and available during our stay.
