We had a wonderful stay. The home was absolutely beautiful and a great locations. We brought our parents and 2 adult kids and it was perfect. So many wonderful memories were made there. I'm so happy we stayed there.
Such a beautiful home in a beautiful location! Over all we loved everything about the house! The hot tub wasn’t working so we were a little bummed about that.
Property was exactly as stated in the description. Had all of the essentials for a weeks stay. Accommodations were excellent! Communication was great. Fishing was amazing! Really a gem of a property!!
I can't say enough good things about this property. It is spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for the 9 adults we had staying there. The back patio is HUGE and was a great spot to enjoy eating the Salmon we caught right off the dock. The area around the cabin is calm and quiet—a very peaceful place to spend our much-needed getaway. Our group has already been discussing a return trip next year and I can not wait!
We stayed here and had a great time. Right on the river and the perfect size for our family.

Hosted by David M Nelson
We have been the owners and operators of 12 short term rental properties in the Utah/@yoming market since 2003. We own Falcon's ledge in Utah that has twice won Lodge of the Year by Orvis Fly Fishing Company. We have over 16 still water lakes along the Uintah mountain range and also guide our guests to many of the beautiful southern slope rivers of the Uintah mountains in Utah. We came to Alaska last year and fished the Kenai and the Kasilof rivers and fell in love with Soldotna and the Kenai Peninsula. We purchased this home on the Kenai because of its seclusion and the ability to share it with others.
Why they chose this property
The Home on the Kenai was purchased in 2022. It is a secluded 2 1/2 acre property with it's own private fishing dock. You will have all the comforts at home but still fee like you are in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness because you are.
What makes this property unique
Spectacular 4 bedroom home with huge deck and private fishing dock on the Kenai River just below the Moose River confluence. You will feel like you are right in the middle of Alaska because you are.
