Available long term. The stunning wine country estate above the clouds is perched on top of of a mountain on the ridge with spectacular 275 degree views. Surrounded by vineyards & forests, this property is serenely quiet. Relax, Unwind & Experience the gorgeous Sunrises and Sunsets at this unique property.
This 4500 square foot, 'Arts & Crafts' style house is built entirely out of old-growth redwood, (even the floors and ceilings). There is a lot of artwork and European antiques, making it a very unique home- unlike any other generic rental house you will see. Above all, its a very special experience. For wine lovers, there are several boutique wineries within walking distance in this coveted micro climate of Spring Mountain Appellation. Equally easy access to St.Helena/Napa and Sonoma both. Serene surroundings and a true getaway.
Aside from being a really special place perched on top of Spring Mountain, the house has many amenities. There is a pool (not heated or fenced in with no safety cover), hot tub & sprawling lawns with a croquet & bocce ball set. There's an outdoor gas grill on the front wrap around deck with extraordinary views of the valley floor. 3+ outdoor seating areas to eat or lounge. Inside of the house there's a fire place and a gourmet kitchen with all the kitchen devices you could want. The main house has 4 bedrooms & 4.5 bathrooms- 3 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms (1 king & 2 queens) and the one bedroom with two full sized alcove beds has its own bathroom across the hall. All bedrooms are sodas apart for privacy. The house sleeps 8 people max. There's also a pool house that can be rented for extra that sleeps an additional 2 guests if you want to bring more than 8 guests. Prices have been reduced from $1200/night because while the house is glorious and charming, she hasn’t been remodeled in 30 years. If you want a brand new property, this is not the vibe for you.

This was the most magical stay we have ever had at VRBO. Not only was the location perfect for our Napa Visit but the host’s charm and engagement made our visit just the best ever. We will be back but in the summer so we can enjoy the pool above the clouds and other amazing amenities.
Unique home with stunning views! Not too far from where everything is located. Hosts were very kind and accommodating! Appreciated the complimentary towels, soaps and stocked kitchen!
Stayed for 4 nights after our planned Sea Ranch rental was cancelled. We were looking for a quiet & firework free place to stay with our dog, who's not a fan of loud bangs. This property was perfect, so quiet, very comfortable and those views!! Did NOT want to leave.
We had 7 people staying over Thanksgiving. We found almost everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our big dinner and loved the eating area, and adjacent family room area with the outstanding view down in to the valley. Most mornings the valley was covered in a thick marine layer but we were up in the sunshine. We walked to a neighboring winery for a tasting. A wonderful weekend. Our host was easy to communicate with and answered all questions. We would love to visit again if in the area.
We absolutely loved our stay! Traveled in with 3 other adult couples and we each had our own bedroom, bath and plenty of room to spread out. Amazing views from the home and pool and great kitchen for our meals. The home has a ton of charm and history. Host was kind and available. The pool and hot tub could use some TLC but did not take away from our experience. We enjoyed being out of town and the wineries in the area were absolutely beautiful. 100% would stay again. Thanks for sharing your family home!
I can't say enough good things about our trip. The house is located on Spring Mountain, which has incredible wineries just minutes away. The views are expansive - beautiful sunrises. Our group loved the landscaping, filled with fruit trees and grape vines. The house is eclectic with tons of charm. We momentarily lost power the first night, which wasn't a big deal, but the hosts were so responsive. You can tell they truly care about making sure you have a great experience.
This home is incredible - the photos don’t even do it justice. It is such a beautiful, spacious property but with so much character and spirit - it was a really magical space for our group of friends to spend the weekend while in st Helena. It was so hard to leave! So much beautiful artwork, books, and little nooks to explore. The views are INCREDIBLE - the balcony and the hot tub were so much fun. The kitchen is huge with any type of beautiful cooking material you could imagine! And Julia and her mother are just lovely - they left us some of their delicious wine and treats and were fabulous, communicative hosts. We truly could not recommend more!!
