Linda was quick to answer questions we had, and we had a pleasant stay. We appreciated the coffee pods/creamers! On the surface level, when you arrive, everything seems clean: floors, counters, table tops, toilets, and showers. However, the guest bedroom had candy wrappers on the bedside table. The primary bedroom had multiple items under the bed that my dogs carried out and began chewing on that were quite troubling: a to-go plastic sauce container, wrappers, and other miscellaneous items that are choking hazards for either children or dogs. Also, the comforters in each bed clearly smell like other people: perfume, body odor, hair products. When we arrived, I noticed that the vinyl couch in the sunroom had seen better days: rips, scratch marks, missing the top layer of vinyl. This is not a big deal, but Linda’s cleaning service tried to say that we caused this damage. I told Linda it was like this when we arrived and she was understanding. Our main complaint is with the cleaning service. They said that there was urine on the comforters and too much pet hair. Our dogs were not allowed anywhere near the furniture, crated, and we paid our pet fee in order to cover any expenses, like pet hair. We even vacuumed when we left, as a courtesy. I fear that the comforters aren’t washed after guest stays and that the urine was another person or dog! Accessibility: the table is bar height not standard, and the main bed is way too high for transferring.
