Relax and get away from it all in the Shore House! This house is so refreshing. It offers a bright and cheery lake house atmosphere with views of Lake Hamilton from every window in the great room. The great room--living, dining and kitchen are all open to each other and boast vaulted ceilings, knotty pine walls and tile floors. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with lake house theme. The covered deck spans the length of the house and sits literally feet away from the lake. A child friendly swimming area is steps from the front door. The Shore House has a great swim dock which has a place to tie up one boat. You will see sunrise and sunset from the deck and the dock. Beautiful!

The Shore House is conveniently located to Hot Springs National Park (8 miles) and is near to shopping malls, grocery stores and all of Hot Springs attractions. When in Hot Springs you will want to experience the many things the city has to do: Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat, 5 Star Theater, Magic Springs Amusement and Water Park, Historic Bathhouse Row, The National Park, Mid-America Science Museum, The Gangster Museum, Oaklawn Rack Track and Casino, hiking, horseback riding, water sports, canoeing, etc. Come enjoy Hot Sprigs National Park and The Shore House.

We had a great stay at the shore house! The location is situated minutes from all of the activities of Hot Springs, but allowed us to be in a beautiful, quiet spot on the water for the amazing sunrise and sunset. The house is cozy and has everything we needed. Beds are comfy, towels are good quality, and the porch is the best spot! I took a 2-hour nap there one day and it was blissful!

Weekend get away

Quick weekend away with friends. Property was easy to find, good location, comfortable, and clean. The weather was cold and wet, but I’m sure in the summer it’s an even better place to stay.

This cabin was perfect! It had all the necessities we needed for our long weekend getaway. The cabin was right there within walking distance to the water where we were able to fish and enjoy the water. We spent a lot of time on the porch where we enjoyed beautiful sunrises. We will be back!!

Derby weekend

Just perfect for our stay. We walked in unloaded and off to the races and at the end of the day it was just so comfortable and inviting. We talked about a return visit when maybe there is a festival and explore Hot Springs - Also break out that grill and make some steaks! Would recommend anytime!

Wonderful location!

We had a great stay at The Shorehouse! Awesome property right in the water. Weekend water way is busy with water-crafts. We were able to get on our stand up paddle board and kayak with ease from the waters edge.

The Perfect Little Getaway

We thoroughly loved this little lake house on Lake Hamilton. You are literally less than 5 steps to the water. The house had everything we needed for the stay. The furniture in the living room was so comfortable and so was the king size bed. Best of all, was sitting on the deck in the comfortable chairs watching the boats and geese go by! We would definitely stay here again when coming to this area.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved being so close to the water and watching the boats go by. Only a small issue .... sugar ants (at least that is what I know them as). House needs to be treated. We would stay there again.

House is right on the lake!

My husband and I enjoyed the house and lake overall. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch and watching the sunrise plus the geese floating along - take some mosquito spray. Our fur babies enjoyed hanging out on the front porch with us as well. My husband’s main complaints were the high boat traffic which made it very difficult to fish, the driveway was very steep and a little rough going down and back up, the deadbolt needed some oil to unlock and lock the door, so we made a trip to the store to find WD40. There was a huge lab without a collar that ran up the porch several times - thank goodness he was a gentle giant because our fur babies are old and small. Overall, we enjoyed the house and the lake view from the porch and windows, plus it was pet friendly.

Captain Mark and Gigi Buhrow owned and operated the Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat from 1983 to 2016. They have four children and four grandchildren. Hot Springs has been home to us for over 30 years. They have owned lake property for rent since 1986 and enjoy sharing beautiful Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs with visitors from all over the county.

In retirement they enjoy boating, camping and traveling America.

Why they chose this property

We built the Shore House as an investment property. We actually love this home so much that when it is available we booked it for ourselves and enjoy all that it has to offer. I know this is not unusual for property owners to stay in their vacation rental homes, but it is for us because we actually live directly across the lake. This cottage is our favorite because of the proximity to the lake (about 5 feet) and the sunrise and sunset view from the deck.

What makes this property unique

The things we love most about the Shore House is how bright and refreshing it is. The covered deck is a great place to sit with a cup of coffee and a book. We love the swim area and enjoy the fact that the house is so close to the lake. The swim area is perfect for lake swimming because it is shallow at the shore and gradually gets deeper as you go out. The sunset from the covered deck is a show stopper!
