The Magic Sands Retreat is a quaint 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage just around the corner from the famed Magic Sands Beach and the Ali'i Drive beach corridor. Just a 10 minute walk to the most popular beach in Kona!
This upgraded home shows attention to detail with an artists touch with many tasteful upgrades throughout including remodeled kitchen, bathrooms, flooring & Air Conditioning!
The home is nestled in the middle of tropical and mature landscaping. Enjoy the sounds of local birds in the trees. Although modestly sized, this home offers several areas for entertaining, reading a book or soaking up the sun.
The home offers easy access to Magic Sands Beach through a public deeded access trail. Great for a morning swim or playing in the surf.

Immediately upon walking in, you'll be greeted by a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the Living Area. Kitchen features granite countertops, gorgeous cabinetry, Large Island, Dishwasher, Fridge/Freezer, Stove/Oven!

The Living Area is comfortable, dining available at the Island or the Dining Table. Split Air Conditioning System Available in the Living Room & All Bedrooms have Wall AC units!
Cable TV & High Speed Wifi Internet are featured in the property. TV in the Living Room!

One of the guest bedrooms is featured as a Media room 2 twin beds & has a Television/Air Conditioning.
The Master Bedroom has a Queen Sized Bed, Wall Air Conditioning Unit, and Private Bathroom with a Walk in Shower.
The Guest Bedroom that goes to the Lanai features a Queen Sized Bed & a Wall Air Conditioning Unit

Washer/Dryer Available for Guest Use at the home as well!

We had an amazing time at this property. the ease of walking to the beach was awesome. night time was a blast as you can walk over to the free area by the hose to wash sand off with and toss a fishing line in the water. we caught several fish that were good size. The surrounding food and shops were also a hit. This will be our go to spot when we come back.

This place was what we dreamed of. Easy location to beach, shopping, and snorkeling, but yet not a high traffic location. House was stocked well with anything needed for cooking and also hanging out on the beach. The house was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the deck and the shade to relax when we weren't out and about.

There is no beach or ocean view as it’s blocked by a jungle of foliage…but it’s lovely and there are so many beautiful birds…the beach is 1/2 mile away

Perfect Location and Home

We stayed 8 nights and were able to relax and enjoy the birds every morning and it was only a 5 minute walk to Magic Sands Beach. The property management team was very communicative and helpful. If you want a place to stay to relax, this is your place.

Fantastic place

The place is fantastic, including all the amenities which meant we did not have to rent snorkeling gear or chairs for the beach. The house is very nice and clean. Great porch to sit and have coffee each morning. Great location. Would greatly recommend to both couples and families to stay.

Perfect quiet rental

The house was beautiful, very well kept, and in a perfect location for us. Walk to the beach and restaurants and short drive to shopping center and the harbor to go fishing. Only 20mins from the airport as well. Highly recommend it!

Perfect home for a family get away!

We'll definitely be looking to rent this wonderful home again if ever back on the island! It had everything we needed and you couldn't beat the location. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the third bedroom now has two twin beds instead of a pull out couch. All in all, we were very happy with our booking!

Great home

We enjoyed our stay at the Magic Sands Retreat. Beautiful home with a great laini for relaxing or enjoying my an outdoor happy hour. One bedroom has 2 twin beds and not a double pull out couch as described. Would definately stay again.

Wonderful spot

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. The home was incredibly clean and the perfect set up for our family of five. We used the kitchen a lot to cook, especially breakfast and dinner. There were lots of supplies for beach days, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, even a wagon. The location was very convenient and made exploring the Kona coast so easy.
