Max 8 guests. We are strict about informing us of additional guests, and of any additional daytime visitors to the house. We are happy for you to host a few friends/family at the house with our consent, but this is a quiet residential neighborhood, so it is not suitable for parties.
Multiple free parking spaces available: 2-3 cars can park in the back driveway and 2 can park in the front circle driveway, which is located on a busy road.
Bedroom # 1: King bed with en suite spa-like bathroom. Brand new walk-in shower has dual rain and regular shower heads, glass shower door, and gorgeous stone tiles from floor to ceiling.
Bedroom # 2: Comfortable queen bed with corner desk, perfect for a home office or homework space. Attached bathroom has new double sink vanity and walk-in shower with glass sliding door and is shared Jack & Jill style with Bedroom #3.
Bedroom # 3: Queen bed with tropical decor that matches its sunny view of the pool and patio.
Bedroom #4: Double bed in a light and bright room with big window. Large standing desk with new monitor, keyboard and mouse, ideal for WFH. French doors feature pull-down blackout blinds for 100% privacy. Beautifully designed bathroom with free-standing tub, toilet, and sink is accessed across the kitchen.
HOUSE RULES:
VISITORS. We are happy for our guests to host friends and family while staying at our property. However, we do require prior approval any time there will be more than 8 people in the house at once. 7-car maximum.
CHILDREN. Children must be supervised any time they are in the front yard (because of the street) and the back yard (because of the pool).
PARTIES. We have a strict no-party policy. We define "party" as (a) any gathering at the house of more than 8 people without our consent or (b) any celebration that, between 9 p.m. thru 9 a.m. exceeds volumes of (i) 30 decibels outdoors and (ii) 70 decibels indoors. We use NoiseAware sensors, which do not register or record audio of any kind, but simply measure decibel levels.
COUNTERTOPS. The kitchen and master bathroom countertops are natural quartzite. Accordingly, they stain easily and are susceptible to damage from heat. Please promptly wipe up any spills and do not set hot pans or heat styling tools on these surfaces.
MISCELLANEOUS. Please keep doors and windows closed while the A/C is on and do not grill under the pergola as it might catch fire. The minimum rental age is 25. We do not give refunds due to weather.
POOL. Guests must adhere to the following pool rules:
(i) Swim at your own risk
(ii) No glass or food by or in the pool
(iii) No diving
(iv) Children must be supervised at all times
(v) Do not leave the pool light on overnight
(vi) No running by the pool
(vii) No swimming while intoxicated.
PENALTIES. We charge penalties for breaking the following rules:
(i) Smoking: we reserve the right to charge a penalty starting at, but not limited to, $250 for each incidence of smoking indoors.
(ii) Pets: we reserve the right to charge a penalty starting at, but not limited to, $100 per day for any pets at the property without our prior consent.
(iii) Parties: In addition to any damages for destruction to the property, we charge a penalty starting at, but not limited to, $500 for any parties (as defined above) held at our house.
(iv) 8+ Guests: If more than 8 people spend the night at the house, we reserve the right to charge $75/night for each additional guest as well as the penalty for a party.
(v) Parking: we have 5 total parking spots (three in the back and two in the front). We charge a penalty starting at, but not limited to, $200 for parking on our grass, in one of our neighbors' driveways, or in any place that blocks the back alley. If you need additional parking, please park on one of the nearby residential streets (but not on the main busy street).
