Constructed in 2021 the property comes equipped with an elevator, a state of the art kitchen, formal dining area, and separate office. Enjoy the sounds of nature as you relax in the outdoor entertainment area with flatscreen TV, grill, and comfortable seating. Adjacent to this area is a walkway leading to a covered dock with views of the bayou and Fontainebleau State Park.
This convenient location gives access to 27 miles of a paved path for walking, jogging, and biking, traversing from Old Mandeville through Abita Springs to downtown Covington. To help you explore the area 2 bikes and 1 kayak are provided with your rental. Less than a mile away is the Mandeville lakefront which has everything from pubs to fine dining.

Fabulous!!

This was our third stay at Cypress & all three have been perfect! The home, the outdoor areas & property are all amazing. Everything you would want or need is available! The owners are wonderful & ready to help if you need them. We will be back as often as possible!!

Stunning

This property is 5 star amenities and adventure all rolled into one. The dock on the bayou is superb for animal and bird watching. This property was gorgeous and so much fun! A stroll on the lakeside just a short bike-ride away was an added bonus! The host was very accommodating and responsive if ever needed. Thank you for sharing this magical location!

Stunning Property in Stunning Location

My wife and I stayed at this property for a fortnight. We have stayed in many holiday rentals, but this property is among the best. The location is superb, being right on the bayou; only yards from the 'Trace' - a 25 mile cycling/walking route between Slidell & Covington; and just minutes from beautiful downtown Mandeville. The property has everything we require. It is modern; is superbly equipped and furnished; and has all the extras (bikes; canoe; dart board; table tennis table) to make a stay extra special. The hosts are really friendly and live nearby. This is our second visit to Bayou Castine, and it will certainly not be our last. I would thoroughly recommend this property.
