The Casita was clean and organized well. The kitchen area had all I needed for one person. The washer and dryer were extremely helpful. The bathroom and bedroom were perfect for me. The bed is extremely comfortable as well as the air conditioning. The unit has ceiling fans and they move the air very well. I will certainly be back.
This house worked perfect for me. Nothing fancy. House was affordable, clean, comfortable bed and adequate amenities. Since my wife decided to stay home in Idaho (due to medical reasons) this small house worked for me. And the host were awesome. I would definitely stay there again.
Great little place to stay. I was there for two weeks waiting for my apartment and it was ideal. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Easy to check in and the host was great.
This place was perfect for me as I visited many sites in Tucson. The location is convenient for U of A along with great restaurants in the area. I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning to this Casita.
We booked the place for my parents. The check in and check out process is super easy and went smoothly. The owners are very nice and response super quickly for all our questions. Over all a very good stay and will rent again if we have family come over to visit.
This little casita is a gem! Jason and Reagan the hosts are wonderful, discreet, helpful, patient and just amazing people. I had an enchanting stay. I hope to come back. Thank you so much.
Jason and Reagan were excellent hosts. I had very little time to myself and they respected my privacy. My work kept me busy from early morning to late night. I always felt safe coming home as there was lights in the driveway and the neighborhood was quiet and had no incidents of problems. The guesthouse had all the amenities I needed.
It was nice. Near campus area. Would loved to have experienced longer.
Our trip was cut short and our host was very understanding and accommodated a partial refund which was appreciated.
This casita is perfect for anyone that wants to enjoy everything Tucson has to offer. It’s close to EVERYTHING. Groceries, restaurants, downtown shopping, National Park and Grants Pass, both was longer than a 20-25 minute drive. The casita is super clean, and has everything you need. Fridge, microwave, washer and dryer, shower, AC and heat for the chilly nights and an awesome outdoor space to relax in. Not to mention the owners Jason and Reagan were awesome to deal with! I’m only giving 5 stars because 10 isn’t an option. I will definitely be back!
Reagan and Jason were incredible hosts. So gracious, honest communication, and very accommodating. The casita was very clean, with a choice of 2 tvs with Roku and FireTV. (Love that) Beautiful layout and perfect for my needs and convenient to my office. They have the cutest dog who is very attentive. Truly appreciated my stay here and perfect for the business traveler or temporary housing as they have everything you would need, including a stacked washer/dryer. Thanks a lot guys!!!
Quiet location close to bus and bike share, walkable to UA. The interior is small but thoughtfully planned with separate spaces for kitchen, bathroom, bed, and entertainment. I didn't have any trouble using the end of the low shelves as a desk, but others may be more comfortable working at one of the outdoor tables where I had breakfast outdoors every morning. The hot water was great, and the A/C kept things comfortable in late May. The best feature of the unit might be the super-responsive owners. They provided clear, friendly information and responded quickly to any question or request. They genuinely care about the casita and their guests.
**Nature bonus: backyard birds in May included Gila woodpecker, broad-billed hummingbird, vermillion flycatcher, and hooded oriole. Also squirrels and a cottontail bunny.
A REALLY filthy environment that smelled of urine and sweaty gym socks and a homeowner that thought he could yell at me and speak to me with extreme disrespect. He tried to charge me cleaning costs in the beginning of my stay AND at the end and tried to charge me $300 in repair costs caused by the previous guest. NO privacy in the courtyard and the internet went out and the cable cut off in and out all the time too. It was a stressful nightmare getting my booking cancelled and couldn't get out of there fast enough.

We have had mostly 5 star reviews for the guest house (see below). Once the guest complained we sent our cleaner back out there as well as our handyman. We spent an extra $250 out of our own pocket to address the concerns as well as tightened the loose toilet and fixed the luggage rack for another $50 for our handyman. We never requested payment from the guest for any of this. The courtyard is stated as a shared area in the listing. We had not heard any complaints about the internet from previous guests. This guest will find anything to complain about. She called my cleaner the B word and told her she stirs things up to get her way. We mutually canceled the booking and she got a refund for unused days (which under our policy we did not have to do). The guest was partying in the courtyard and disturbing the other tenant with loud music and singing. There was no yelling or disrespect. We did everything to accommodate this person to make it right. I would not rent to this person again.
This little guest house/casita worked out well for me for a month long stay. Initially, it looked awfully small, with the kitchenette appearing impractical. But I was able to make it work by setting the microwave on the utility cart so I could have some counter space. It took a little getting used to but in the end it worked out well. Ditto for the table the TV sits on. I was able to put my laptop on it and use it as a workspace. The photos showed a solid door to the bedroom, but it had been replaced with a windowed door with built in miniblind to let in light and provide a view. Nice touch! Finally, hosts Jason and Reagan were great, friendly and easy to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for one or two people. Thank you!
For me, the outstanding feature of this very small but adequate, free standing and private, efficiency apartment near the University of Arizona in Tucson is the amazing engagement of the owner, Jason, who, though far away in the midwest, was available by phone or text within minutes to answer any and all questions or concerns. In addition, it was clear that he had planned carefully for any eventuality, with a well organized welcome for his guests, a cleaning lady and a handy-man at the ready if problems occurred (none did). Overall, a pleasant and convenient experience for one person to stay during a very busy time for rentals in the Tucson area.
Cute little casita, comfortable and conveniently located. Clean and well stocked, even some nice treats in the fridge! The internet was a bit unpredictable but Jason was very helpful with troubleshooting. Enjoyed my stay

About the host
Hosted by Jason Vosu
We love Tucson and this property is our home. Jason is a U of A grad, UX designer and musician. Reagan is an interior designer and property manager. We try to get to Tucson as often as possible, even in the summer. We love going to Gentle Ben's for breakfast, Mt Lemmon to cool off, Catalina State Park to hike and North for a glass of wine.
Why they chose this property
This property is located just north of the U of A and close to downtown, 4th ave, Tumomoc Hill, Catalina State Park, Mt. Lemmon, grocery stores, antique stores, golf courses and great restaurants.
What makes this property unique
The guest house is basically a hotel room with a kitchenette. It has its own separate entrances, free parking, bedroom, office space, bathroom with shower, washer and dyer, kitchenette (fridge, sink, hot stove and microwave) and is super cute and convenient to many locations.
