We loved our stay at this property! The location and views are absolutely incredible, and the amenities are wonderful. The hot tub, sauna (beautiful), several outdoor seating areas (along with a fire pit area), and outdoor showers and wash hoses all made it so easy to truly enjoy Chesterman Beach and Tofino. The beach is gorgeous and tide pools are easily walkable at low tide both north and south. The interior of the home is very well done, we lacked for nothing! We were sad to leave this little slice of heaven!

Everything about the stay was perfect. Large, clean and comfortable home, amazing dry room to transition from beach to living spaces, good appliances, tons of small, nice extras around the place, 4 bathrooms and 2 outdoor showers, great hot tub, house deck and foreshore deck - and easy access to beach with complete privacy in the property.

A Beautiful Stay at Surfside Lodge

I’ve been coming to Tofino since I was a little girl, and now being able to share this special place with my husband and children makes it even more meaningful. We try to visit every year, and somehow, each time we return, we discover something new to explore. Tofino has always held such a special place in my heart, and it continues to be one of our favourite places to spend time together as a family. We always love staying on Chesterman Beach, and Surfside Lodge was such a wonderful addition to our family memories this year. The location right on the beach was absolutely perfect! The beautiful big windows, thoughtful amenities, and comfortable living spaces made it such a lovely place to relax, enjoy the views, and spend quality time together. I also want to recognize the exceptional service we received from Tofino Vacation Rentals. Every interaction over the phone was fantastic, and the communication leading up to our stay was impeccable. This trip was actually a surprise for me, so my sister-in-law was receiving the booking emails and vacation updates. She runs a property management company in Mexico and commented on how impressed she was with the professionalism, thoughtful emails, and excellent communication. Coming from someone in the industry, I thought that was a wonderful compliment worth sharing! Thank you for helping us create another year of beautiful family memories in a place we love so much. We would absolutely recommend Surfside Lodge and Tofino Vacation Rentals to anyone looking for a special getaway on Chesterman Beach. We hope to return again!

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Surfside Lodge is a special place. Everyone should experience the effect staying somewhere so amazing has on their life (I am still breaking out into uncontrolled smiles from the memory of our stay). Some specific things to call out:- Location: absolutely breathtaking views of Chesterman Beach (6th best in the world according to lonely planet). Direct beach access via a short path. Beach walks were incredible and easy to get to hotel facilities and local food (Tofitian coffee and Wildfire grill being 2 of our highlights). The local free shuttle bus was a nice surprise and meant our non-driving kids could hop on to go into Tofino.- House Layout: fantastic setup, stunning lounge area with views and great kitchen and dining spaces. Bedrooms were nicely setup and the little office on the top floor made the little work I had to do less painful with the views. Japanese bidet toilets were a nice surprise and the surf-room made storing all our stuff really easy.- Facilities: all the kitchen facilities you could need, great washer/dryer and a big TV on the ground floor. Hot-tub and Sauna were really nice - we spent several hours chilling in these late in the evening.- Attentive Hosts: Tofino Vacation Rentals were very friendly and helpful, with quick responses to any of our question.FANTASTIC PLACE.

Exceptional house! We had everything we needed and wanted (including great weather) for a fantastic 5 day stay. We enjoyed everything about the house - the sauna, the hot tub, the chairs by the beach, the firepit, the beach access, the chairs by the beach, the comfy bedrooms … all made for an excellent stay. We did not want to ever leave. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house in a perfect location...

Excellent beachside accommodation for 6. Steps to the surf and a fully equipped wet room for when you are done. Hot tub and sauna were well used on winter days. Very well equipped kitchen. Everything super clean and in good order. Will be back!

Beach stay …

We loved our stay at the house. We had many walks on the beach and the location is perfect, close to town The attention from the management company (Tofino Vacation rentals) was very good! They made it easy and always answer right away We would stay here again without hesitation

MOST AMAZING place in Tofino!!! ❤️🤩

This is our second time at Surfside Lodge and it’s AMAZING!!! This year we brought 2 boys with us that have never been to Tofino and WOW they could not even believe how dialed in this house is!!! Surf room, hot tub, sauna and the view…can’t wait to book it for next year!

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed a great stay at the Surfside Lodge. The house is very comfortable and the backyard is completely private including the sauna and hot tub areas. The view is absolutely gorgeous. Communication with the rental staff was always quick and helpful.
