No acceptable value for money

Tldr; Not acceptable for family vacation and - most certainly - no acceptable value for money. Communication with host was ok and cooperative, until we inspected the place. The apartment itself is located in a rather worn-down, withered building. We underwent check-in procedure, which required us to unlock 4 doors and 1 gate before finally entering the apartment. We found a print-out sheet pinned to the staircase wall in which the house community advises visitors about the area being a criminal hotspot (drugs, theft and assault) so the gate always has to be kept closed, and - in addition - locked after 8pm. The apartment itself was ok at first sight, but revealed several flaws: - stained couch covers - stained hassocks on all 4 table chairs - poorly cleaned bathroom shower - (freshly?) used towels in the laundry bin - dirty shelves and drawers in the kitchen - broken light appliance above the stove - broken couch frame All points above made us swiftly book an alternative accommodation ( which luckily worked out like a charm this time ) and to clear out within an hour of our arrival. In my opinion, the place is a prime example of neglect and is being setup to make easy money with as little effort as possible. Strongly encourage everyone to avoid this place especially families with kids, when planning to travel to Prag for vacation.

Great Location - had problems that weren't resolved

We arrived and getting in is like an escape room. There are 5 doors to get into the property with different keys. When we got in, the bed was broken in the main bedroom. It was leaning against the wall. The owner was not responsive and asked me what happened. I said I didn't know and he didn't come to even look at it until over 24 hours after checkin. I slept in the room with the twin beds. VRBO was no help. When he came, he entered the property without knocking and used the bathroom - which was creepy - and even left the seat up. He implied that we did something but the frame was missing a whole section. I killed a spider on the wall, and when I wiped it with a wet cloth - the paint came right off. I asked for a partial refund since I wasn't able to use the one bedroom for 2 nights - and the owner just ghosted me. I've tried to contact him - and nothing. All of the furniture is flimsy. My daughter and I are small people - and enjoyed the neighborhood - but wouldn't recommend this property.

Wonderful Stay

Good location, easy access to everything. Tram system in Prague is so easy. Felt safe and comfortable. Missed having an oven and toaster but we made do.

Prague Stay

This place was great! It was close enough to walk or hop on the metro to get to the different attractions, but also just far enough away from the crowded touristy areas to find some less busy restaurants. Communication was great and the space was clean and roomy for the five of us!
