About this property

Our 6 Bedroom private family home is set back in a quiet residential cove of Lake Hartwell and sleeps up to 14 adults comfortably on memory foam beds. Our newly installed fiber optic high speed internet service will connect multiple devices. Clemson and "Death Valley" are only 13 minutes away! Clemson marina is 5 minutes away with rental pontoons and boats. Enjoy time together in the large, open-concept main floor or outside on the large upper covered deck, lower gazebo, firepit, or dock. This house has 2 full kitchens stocked with everything you may need for a nice long getaway. The upper floor has a large bedroom with a wall of windows accommodating a king bed, couch, and two additional twin mattresses stored in the full length closet that you can pull out to use. Across the hall past a full bath is a king bedroom and a dual twin bedroom. On the main floor is a large master suite with a king bed and private full bath. The lower level has a full apartment with a separate entrance with a master king suite and private full bath, a living room with pull-out full size sofa, kitchen, dining area, work desk. Additionally there is a separate king bedroom with a half bath that walks out to the lower patio and backyard. A child high chair, portacrib, and youth mattress are also provided. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. Reduced cleaning fees and discounted rates in effect for spring/summer! Enjoy our newly redone home for a great family week this summer or weekend this fall. Many outdoor activities are available in the Sumter NF and nearby NC mountains and National Forests. Come and enjoy your stay at our family home on the Lake Hartwell! Kayaks and a paddle board are available for your use. Nice gentle path and steps to the private quiet dock. We offere flexible check-in and out dates and flexible lengths of stay in June and late August.

Overall Great Stay

The listing says there is a hot tub, no hot tub on property. We were a bit disappointed. Other than the lack of hot tub everything was great. Well stocked, clean, and spacious. Our little group had a wonderful time visiting with family and relaxing here. There was even a Christmas tree set up, we took some family photos around it.

This is a great house and very well equipped. everything you need in the kitchens and great wifi . The tv channel selection was perfect for watching all of our weekend football games. Clemson and the stadium is just a short drive as well. Would definitely stay again.

We are the Sherar/Padilla family who for years talked about all going in on buying a lake house and finally did just that. We are14 in all brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, kids, and grandkids aged 6 months to 72. This is our home away from our homes and we are happy to share it with you!

Why they chose this property

We needed a home that could accommodate all the family and grandkids without having to draw straws for the king bed and not fight for fridge and kitchen space. This large home was perfect for us and we put a lot of sweat and tears into making what it is today.
