Great stay and minutes from the beach

Rented this place for my wife for a weekend. Large rooms and the host provided all amenities. The host is very communicative and I expect to rent from this host again. Our stay was great!

Just a breeze

From check in to check out, this property was perfect. We came in Saturday afternoon, claimed beds, then headed out for a drive around the island. After exploring, we came home and I set the kids up in the living room with a movie, and I went out to the front porch to enjoy the breeze and sunset. It was perfect. The citronella candle was a great addition, thank you! We went to the beach all day Sunday and came home around 5pm to relax before going to Rainforest Cafe for dinner. My kids were so comfortable at your place, it truly felt like home. The beds were so comfortable and well appointed. Love love this house. We will definitely be back. Thank you for letting us into your home. ❤🙌🏼 I work in Healthcare and sorely needed this 3 day weekend. Thanks for helping us unwind!

This house has been in our family since hurricane Ike nearly destroyed the island in 2008. Though many homes were damaged, this home is elevated enough that is was undamaged. We have recently decided to share our love of the beach with more people and open up our home for short term rentals.

Why they chose this property

This house has a lovely open concept and is close to the beach. It sleeps 10 people comfortably, and has a awesome deck with outdoor cooking amenities. The interior is updated and modernized with a smart tv, fast wifi, alexa and a nest thermostat. We have also updated all the mattresses with new memory foam mattresses ones that are very
comfortable.

What makes this property unique

Close to everything fun on the island, central location. It is only a 2 min drive to the beach, and there are some excellent restaurants close by. There is a movie theater close by, and mini golf is always a hit too. Take a tour on the duckboat and learn about the unique history of the island!
