This beautiful North Cape May home is perfect for your next beach vacation. Conveniently located on a quiet cul de sac, it's minutes from the Delaware Bay, 10-12 minutes from the Cape May Beaches, 15 minutes from the Wildwood boardwalk and a short ride to dozens of restaurants, vineyards and breweries!

You'll be welcomed by a house-wide front porch that's perfect for morning coffee. The first floor has a spacious living room with a 65-inch wall-mounted TV, a formal dining room, a gourmet eat-in kitchen, and a well-equipped game room for contests, puzzles and cards! For even more fun, the garage has been converted into an arcade-like game room. Get your game on with Pop-a-Shot basketball, air hockey, foosball and magnetic darts!

Bonus: The house also features an attached first-floor in-law suite -- with its own private entrance. The in-law suite has a full kitchen, a living room with another wall-mounted 48-inch TV, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed!

There are 4 more large bedrooms upstairs, each equipped with TVs. The primary bedroom has a king bed and an en suite full bathroom. Two other bedrooms have queen beds, and the fourth bedroom has a pyramid bunk bed that's perfect for the kids. A large bathroom in the connecting hallway completes the second floor.

The inside is beautiful, but outside is even better! A huge screened-in back porch for dining and relaxing looks out over a patio that's perfect for grilling, sunbathing or just relaxing. Want to cool off? Take a dip in the large above-ground pool! And enjoy nature with a large backyard that abuts the protected forests behind the property (bird and nature lovers, bring your binoculars!).

And birders take note: With comfortable accommodations for up to 10, the house is perfect for groups of bird-watching enthusiasts who want to save money while staying just a short drive from Cape May Point.

This home is well equipped with anything you might need. Games, books, grill, iron, well supplied kitchen. Plenty of seating, inside and out. The in-law suit is a nice bonus, for anyone needing a little more privacy. All the beds are real beds, no fold outs! Plenty of bathrooms. Though we were there off season I could see the pool being a bonus. Outside is also a shed with loads of beach chairs, we weren’t swimming at the beach but having a chair was great! There was also a fun game room with basketball, air hockey and foosball, that everyone enjoyed. We also had a great time with the karaoke machine. The hosts communicated well, tgough email and text messages. The cleanup expectations were easy. Though recycling instructions would have been helpful as each state is a little different. The neighborhood was clean, quiet and felt safe. The house is tastefully decorated, clean and up to date. The only thing we haven’t encountered before in renting with VRBO was bringing our own bed linen and towels, but knowing this ahead of time was easy to prepare, and I could see if it was beach season the quantity of towels needed for a house this size would be a lot! A few services were recommended but buying sheets off Amazon is cheaper than the services. I would definitely rent this property again and refer it to friends.

Something for everyone

We had 4 generations in this fabulous house and everyone had a great time. The kids loved the game room and all of us loved the pool. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor BBQ was used almost every day. We have rented so many homes and this was our favorite by far!!

Perfect for Our Family

To the Nines is an especially comfortable home, having a layout that encouraged family togetherness without sacrificing privacy. with gracious, welcoming and responsible hosts. Grocery and drug stores were close at hand, along with restaurants and a fun place for authentic Mexican desserts (Antojo’s). A dream vacation stay

Ilene was amazing, friendly and responsive before and during our stay! We could not have asked for a better and more helpful host! The house is beautiful inside and out, the owners really thought of many little details including entertainment for rainy days, we wish we could have stayed longer! Our family and friends all agree that the house has a good open layout, every room is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had 10 people including little kids in the house but there was plenty of space to spread out, the 2 dining tables were perfect for our meal times. Did I also mention the clean pool and the pool toys that the kids gleefully found in the pool chest?! Thank you Ilene & Jim for setting the bar so high for our future vacation home rental 😃!

Annual Family Summer Vacation

Our family had a wonderful vacation. Staying at Ilene & Jim’s home in North Cape May made our stay even more relaxing and full of fun such memorable time. The lovely home was tastefully decorated, orderly and clean. It felt like home. The home is equipped with every amenity needed and then some! We enjoyed the pool, backyard games, screened in deck, grilling, game rooms and karaoke. The home is close to beaches, boardwalks, great restaurants, fun attractions from dolphin watching, fishing, hiking, endless list of activities. comfortable roomy house

We were five retired women birders staying in this house. It is roomy, spacious and confortable. Good location and quet street. The rooms are all a good size. The backyard is huge with a nice pool (which we did not use because it was September.) The kitchen is very large to accomodate our group. The first floor layout is open and conducive to commingling. The screened porch is fantastic. The inlaw suite provide a quiet bedroom and extra refrigerator space. The owners were very responsive in dealing with issues beyond their control such as contacting the cable company and power companies. We would definitley recommend this property and will consider a return visit.

Exactly what we needed

The house was perfect for a group of scientists using it as a base during field work -- plenty of space to meet all of our needs. All work and no play on our end, but I am sure it would provide excellent accommodations for anyone coming to the area on vacation as well.

Great stay in North Cape May!

What a wonderful stay in North Cape May! We had no idea what to expect given the property was a new listing but Ilene and Jim beyond exceeded our expectations. The house had everything we needed and more. Additionally, it was so clean and well-appointed! We were greeted with chocolates and champagne from the owners, Ilene and Jim. They were attentive to making our stay fabulous. The main kitchen was clean, spacious and had everything needed for our family meals. The work space / printer / monitor and great WiFi was super convenient for remote work when needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and very comfortable with TVs and fire sticks in every room. The mother-in-law suite had easy access to the porch, pool, and main kitchen. The screened-in porch was lovely for breakfast and evening cocktails. We loved the pool and the outdoor shower. We had a great time playing pop-a-shot, air hockey, and darts in the game room. The karaoke machine and poker table were added bonuses for late-night fun. Our family, guests, kids and adults alike, had a blast. We can’t say enough good things about 208 Pontaxit and can’t wait to return next year! Thank you Ilene and Jim for making our family vacation so special!

Amazing location the place was beautiful clean they had everything to do while on vacation.

There is so many things to do in this house the decoration of the house is beautiful inviting. Cleanliness in entire house there are areas all over the house for usage. Game room, Pool, outdoor sitting for everyone a private screened florida room for lovely dinners or just to relax . Quiet neighborhood close to everything. Definitely will be coming back.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property's unique characteristics. It is on a very quiet residential street, with a deep, large fenced yard backing up to beautiful protected preserve lands. It is open and spacious, and has a very special attached in-law suite that has its own heating/AC system, and a private outdoor entrance, with a full kitchen and bath. There is also a very large, cozy screened-in porch overlooking an above ground pool which is perfect for relaxing after a full day's activities
