About this property

Just renovated house with brand new furniture, appliances, floors, etc. Only 1.5miles of quiet roads and bike paths to public beaches/downtown Bethany. Quiet community with a pool, catch and release fishing pond, and tennis/pickle ball court. Relax or grill out on our back deck and forested backyard with hammock and fire pit. Super large common room is great for everyone to have fun and spend time together. Easy access to Assawoman Bay and canal for canoe, kayak, or paddle boarding.

Everything you need for your beach trip provided; linens, towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, canoe, and kayak all included with your stay.

Nice Stay

We spent a week at this house (two adults/two children) and it had everything anyone could need. It was quick drive to Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island as well as some good restaurants. Also, the pool was only steps away which also helped to keep the kids entertained and John, the owner, was always available to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this house for a family break.

Simply glorious

The house very cozy, neat and clean. There were 6 of us. 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We had plenty of room expect for sitting in the living room to watch a movie or something. The owner always responded to any questions and very easy to work with. Close proximity to bethany beach about a mile or so driveand of course the neighborhood pool. We highly recommend this place for a stay.

Great property...

We very much enjoyed our stay... the house was very comfortable and was well-equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys for the kids. The community pool was so close, and it was a very easy drive to the beach. John was very accommodating and responsive to all of our questions.

We grew up local to the Delaware Beaches and enjoy spending our free time in the relaxed pace of the area. Our favorite activities include spending days at the beach, coming back to the community for a dip in the pool, grilling our dinner with local produce, and then heading back to Bethany for ice cream and mini-golf to finish the day.

Why they chose this property

Bethany is the “Quite Beach Resort.” While other nearby towns have their charms we love the family friendly atmosphere and quieter pace in Bethany. Bethany tends to draw families on weeklong summer breaks from DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia areas versus the more party minded Dewey Beach and Ocean City, MD.

What makes this property unique

Our neighborhood is a unique find with a blend of retirees, summer homes, and a couple rentals. The healthy balance of community promotes neighborhood pride demonstrated with clean yards and common areas. Our house is both secluded, backed up to an undeveloped wooded area, and one of the closest walks to the neighborhood pool and tennis areas. The sense of community extends their welcome to visitors and you will experience many warm greetings at the neighborhood pool or walking the quiet streets.

We have been deliberate in building fun touches into many details of the house. With additions such as the foosball coffee table, collection of legos, pool toys, board games, backyard play space, and beach tools we hope your stay will be as fun as it is relaxing.
