Enjoy waking up to a massive balcony suite on Magazine Street in downtown New Orleans! Endless tall ceilings and natural light with large windows, this historic suite has everything the city has to offer! 4 blocks to the French Quarter, 1 block to Harrahs Casino and the New Caesar's Palace, 6 blocks to bourbon street and 10 blocks to the World War II Museum! Walk to the Mardi Gras Parades, Cafe Du Monde or the French Quarter Festival!!

We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

The beds are comfortable. The check was a little nerve racking because I didn’t get them until like 2 or an hour before checking in. The AC was set at 74 and you couldn’t change it. The balcony was great. You could hear the people upstairs at weird hours. It’s a 15 min walk from bourbon st… the breakfast place next to it was good.

Convenient location, just blocks from the Quarter, the Superdome, and the WW2 museum. Odd building that still sees to be under renovations. Rooms were spacious, but somewhat noisy from foot traffic on the third floor above.

Great Location Wonderful Flat

The flat is in a great location right IN New Orleans. We easily walked to the Friench Quarter, the river front, the outlet stores, we even walked to Frenchmen Street (that was a little far but definitely doable. The flat was clean and well equipped. There were only 2 of us, but we could have easily fit 2 - 4 more although the living and sleeping areas are all open to each other so if you need separate rooms for privacy this does not offer that. The weather wasn't great but I still got to do one morning with coffee on the balcony and it was awesome. The street below is busy and the breakfast brunch place next door is Very busy all morning. . .so good people watching if that is your thing. Even though it is right in the middle of New Orleans the thick drapes provided plenty of coverage for blocking out the city lights at night. The only downside we experienced is that the walls are a bit thin, so there were a few times that we could hear people talking in the next flat. Overall I was highly impressed with the accommodations and location. If I ever find myself headed to N.O. again I will definitely be looking to book this First.

Communication with the host was top notch, Genesis was very quick to respond to all of my messages.The location was great, expect to do some walking. It was perfect for 4 adults, me, my husband and two single friends. My husband and I shared the room with the bathroom and the additional bathroom was in-between the other two bedrooms.Don't have high expectations on a communal area to hang out in. What you see in the pictures is what you get, nice long hallway, a single couch and 4 chairs. No complaints because we spent a lot of time exploring the area. Full sized kitchen if you're looking to save money on food.Ruby slippers downstairs was an amazing place for breakfast/brunch, conveniently located right downstairs.The balcony was a great place to hang out and people watch. We even had a mini photo-shoot while we were out there.We walked and used Uber/Lyft for the first couple of days and then ended up renting a car for the second half of our stay.
