MT VIEW, HOT TUB, GAME ROOM, THEATER, GREAT LOCATION!!!

HuckleBEARy Hangout - This is a ONE-OF-A-KIND property. Spacious open floor plan with a large gourmet (fully stocked) kitchen for entertaining. The living room stays cozy with a wood pellet stove. There is a full laundry room for all of your laundry needs and a half bath for convenience. This exquisitely furnished home has a King Master Suite with a large walk-in closet and unique bathroom on the main level. The upstairs boast two Queen bedrooms (with private balconies) connected by a full bathroom. Off the living room, you will step back in time into our “Old West Saloon” inspired Loft/Gameroom. The loft has queen over queen bunk bed (handmade by the owners) and a cocktail arcade machine. You can then step down into the saloon game room that includes a pool table, an air hockey table, an arcade game and a wet bar. The downstairs also includes an art deco inspired Theater Room that is sure to impress and another full bathroom. The views are amazing, the deck includes plenty of seating, a gas grill for cookouts and a large hot tub for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the view...or the wildlife. The large backyard is known to host everything from chipmunks and rabbits to bobcats and bears. This house is located less than 6 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and 3 miles from Gatlinburg. Good luck finding a better location. This home has everything you are looking for in the perfect getaway, but be warned, you may never want to leave.
Please note this is a mountain home. Four-wheel drive is recommended during winter months. (due to possible weather conditions).

TRASH: Secure all trash in cans in bear proof bins. Dispose of excess trash (doesn't fit in cans) at 951 Center View Road, Sevierville or be charged $50 for excess trash. This is what I am charged.
CHECK-OUT TIME: 11AM $100 charged hourly if your group fails to leave by check-out time. This time is needed for the cleaners to thoroughly clean and is not permission to stay beyond check-out.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Perfect spot for family vacation

Location was perfect between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The house was beautifully decorated with personal touches and welcome gifts. Plenty of room for 3-4 families. The kids loved that they had their own space with the theatre room.

Family fun

Beautiful property with great views

Just ended my stay at this property for a girls trip. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was included. Game room and theater room were amazing and we spent one entire day just hanging out there with plenty to do. Location was great too. We even saw a bear walking down the road in front of the cabin and then wandering down the hill — we watched from the safety of the big beautiful deck.

Awesome Stay

The location of this property is great. You are 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Ober Mountain (only reason it is that long is because you are at the top of the mountain). The views are amazing and you can even see the Ober Mountain slopes from the driveway. The place itself looks exactly as pictured if not better and, there was constant communication with the property manager when needed. Will likely stay here again when I visit Gatlinburg.

Great stay

If you have to have a cabin, then, this is not that. It’s a standard vinyl siding house, but it has everything you could ever want in a getaway. The views were fantastic, the hot tub was very nice. The game room kept the kids occupied the whole weekend, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The only drawback was that all but the master bed were too firm for our liking.

Awesome Property

We had an awesome stay! Beautiful cabin with everything you need. You won’t be disappointed! Theater room was A huge hit as well as the game room. Having groceries delivered was A huge help due to the traffic. Highly recommend doing that if you have A larger group and plan to cook.

Fantastic time!

We had an amazing long weekend here! The owner was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond when the refrigerator stopped working. When I let her know, she drove 3 hours on an early Saturday morning to purchase another one. Because delivery was not possible that day, she personally drove it up a very steep mountain and delivered it herself The game room and theater are great and kept the kids entertained. We had plenty of room for everyone and will definitely plan to stay here again when we are back in the area!

First time in the mountains

House is beautiful and clean and fit our family well. Plenty of room for the kiddos and to eat as a family. The view was amazing. Had everything we wanted and more than we needed. The drive up was a memory. Lets just say we did not research " the mountains " well enough and had zero expectations of what we were going to be driving to. But we made it and after the first drive up to the house, the anxiety went away quickly. We saw a bear almost everyday and a bobcat.

Perfect for family

We visited with a family of 13. The house was beautiful and clean. The kids loved the game room and movie room. Not once did we hear "we are bored." We were so impressed with everything from the cleanliness of the house to the beautiful views, the many activities, the thoughtfulness of the supplies provided but most of all the graciousness of the host. We did arrive during inclement weather which could have devastated our trip. But due to the helpfulness of the host who went above and beyond all was well and we had a great trip. Thank you so much!

Luxury Mountaintop Oasis!

This gorgeous new home is situated all the way up the mountain with gorgeous views into the valley on both sides. A fantastic area for long peaceful walks and escaping the crowds and noise nearby. The home had well beyond everything you would need for an easy stay from soaps, towels and clear direction from the owner on how to use or adjust things. Everything was perfectly clean and in operating condition! We ordered groceries from Instacart delivered which was a huge time saving since the house is a solid 25 minutes from a big grocery store. While it’s ‘remote’, it’s also perfectly situated on the parkway between both cities for easy access to all attractions. This house was a perfect escape for two families and our herd of crazy kids!

All of the activities!

From the outside you wouldn’t know it but inside this house is perfect! Large kitchen that is fully stocked. The kids (and adults) enjoyed the game room especially the pool table and multi game machine in the loft. Lots of comfortable beds for the children and adults. The hot tub was perfect with an amazing view. Huge kitchen table. Great location to get to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The only “complaints” would be lack of water pressure. And maybe the stone floor in the master bathroom. A little too bumpy on the feet! We would definitely return to this home! Thanks for sharing!

So much fun!!

We loved everything about our stay! We had 13 people (6 adults and 7 “kids” 13+) and never felt crowded. So many different zones to hang out in included the outdoor deck and the AMAZING views. It was great to see everyone hanging out, communicating and not staring at their phones watching YOUTUBE. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for space and entertainment especially when the mountain weather can be iffy at times. Even having a nearby pool which the “kids” enjoyed along with the amenities they had over there. Easy checkin and communication and everything we needed to get us off to a great start even down to the welcome gift. Wish we would have had more time there but will certainly look to stay again when we are back in the area. Although not in the winter…not sure how you will make it up that last hill LOL. Thank You!

Amazing!

What a wonderful slice of the Smoky Mountains. We enjoyed our stay so much. The games were great, the movie room was perfect and we spent a ton of time soaking up the view on the deck. We were lucky enough to see several bears, who were so much fun to watch, especially the cubs! It was the most well stocked VRBO home we've ever stayed in, having everything you might need. Awesome property but truly on a mountain

The house was gorgeous. Very nice living area with open kitchen, dining, and living room. Vaulted ceiling and huge TV and comfy leather sofas. The main floor also has a large master bed and full bath, and there's a half bath off the laundry room, so the master bath can be reserved for the couple sleeping there. Above the kitchen are two bedrooms with a Jack & Jill bath connecting them. The beds in there are soft but a bit lumpy, and each upstairs bedroom has a nice TV. The property is on top of a mountain with no trees, so the wind is insane and the upstairs beds have a large amount of wind noise from the roof. There's a nice deck with smoker grill and hot tub off the main level. The best feature is the game room. Coming off the main floor living area, opposite the master bedroom, is a large high-ceiling room. There is a lofted section with 2 massive queen bunks (4 beds total) that can sleep a lot of kids. They are well built and comfortable. Underneath that lofted area is the theater which is very nice, everything works and is easy to use. The living and theater TVs both have many streaming options. In the open area of this game room is a very nice pool table and air hockey table. Kids loved having a whole wing of the house to themselves to sleep, play games, and watch movies. The double edged sword of this property is the location. It is on top of a mountain. Reaching it involves very dangerous and steep roads. I've driven Tail of the Dragon in Deals Gap, so I'm familiar with Tennessee mountain roads. The road up to this property is, at times, like something from a Jeep commercial where the incline is so steep you can't see where you're going. Perhaps fun in a Jeep, but a white knuckle experience in a 6,000 lbs SUV with 1,000 lbs of kids and gear, even with AWD and a heigh adjustable suspension. This was in good weather. I would not want to tackle this road in snow. There were also many sections with no guard rails and banked roads, where a mistake would send you flying 50 ft down into the roof of another house. More guardrails were being added while we were there, so it's possible that will be improved, but the road is still very steep. If you plan to bring food and stay here, the kitchen is great to cook and the game room and theater great to play. If you intend to go into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which are great, you will want to minimize trips per day, not go back and forth, as the road is stressful. Great house though!

Married on the Mountain

This stay was amazing! Our family stayed with us, friends came to visit and we go married on the deck over the mountain. House was very clean, tons of amenities and communication was great. Our 3rd night there, Gatlinburg got 10 inches of snow and we were under and emergency travel warning. Host was so kind and accommodating to us even after we lost power. Road to and from is sketchy at best but if you want the view!!

We enjoyed our stay!

The property was clean and as described. We enjoyed the game and theater room very much, it was great to keep the kids entertained at all times. My only complaint was there were no pellets for us to use the grill the first night so we had to make a trip back into town so we could grill. Overall nice place to stay.

My husband and I are originally from East Texas. We moved to Middle Tennessee in 2008 with our three children. Our oldest (daughter) is currently in the Navy (since 2013). Our oldest son works for our small business in Middle Tennessee, and our youngest (son) is currently enrolled in a post grad college. This is our first rental property and we love hosting in the Gatlinburg area.

Why they chose this property

When I was a teenager, I came to Gatlinburg on a school trip. Being from Texas, you are always very proud of that, but when I saw Gatlinburg I said, "If I ever leave Texas, it will only be for Tennessee". I didn't know how true that would be. Eight years after we were married, my husband was given an opportunity to move to Tennessee and we both excitedly jumped at the chance. In 2021, after 13 years of saving and planning, we began looking for an investment property (and future retirement location) in Gatlinburg. We looked at so many homes, but nothing quite had the whole package we were looking for. We purchased this home from a couple who used it as a second residence. We quickly began a huge remodel project to transform an RV garage into the Game Room/Bar, Loft, Full Bathroom and Theater that you see in the photos. We poured our heart and soul into this project, and I (Ruby) designed everything from the layout to the wallpaper, the furniture, ceiling tiles to light fixtures. Of course, we had the help of an amazing construction team (CMS of Tennessee) to bring it all to life. This home is very special and unique and we know you will love it too!

What makes this property unique

This home offers spacious areas throughout, an extra-large master suite, unique designs in the game room and theater. The views are spectacular with a massive deck. The location is in perfect proximity for both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, as well as The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There is plenty of parking and everything you could think of is available in the large kitchen.
