This is a quiet private neighborhood with beautiful views in every direction. The expansive back porch is the perfect place for morning coffee, enjoying afternoon conversations and evening sunsets. Many of the single family home owners are here full time making for a friendly feel around the cove. You will get a friendly wave from neighbors as they come and go on their golf carts or out for a walk. You never know-you may even see a celebrity!

This spacious 3,800 sq ft single-story home features 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms—three of which are private en-suites—ideal for multi-generational families or groups seeking both comfort and privacy. Located on a peaceful cove with 96 feet of waterfront and an open water view, it offers the serenity of lake life without the noise and traffic of the main lake

Cedar Creek Lake is the 5th largest lake in Texas. Excellent fishing, boating, 4th of July Air Show, and lots of shops including First Monday Canton Trade Days just 30 minutes away.

The marina and Vernon's are popular waterfront restaurants accessible by boat. Our location is just a few minutes to Walmart, Brookshire's and local restaurants.

There are no mobile homes in our neighborhood. This might sound like a weird thing to say, but many areas of the lake are surrounded by mobile homes-we are not one of them.

This house was perfect for my family's summer reunion. I've rented vacation homes over years and have never found one as clean as this one. Why they chose this property

We have been blessed to be in a family that has had 85 consecutive years of having a family reunion on the lake. There have been many wonderful memories made with multiple generations each year. We want the tradition to continue. We are beyond blessed to purchase this property that will be in the family for generations to come and bless many others along the way. There were many of homes to choose from, but one that we could envision many future memories being made with friends and family. We have named it Fortner Cove to keep the name in the family since we have three girls that will someday marry and leave their maiden names behind.

We have a sister property on the lake that we have owned since 2018 and have fallen in love with lake life! Need space for an even larger group? Rent both-they are just minutes apart! Check us out directly at fortnerpointe.com

What makes this property unique

Just an hour from Dallas this home is an easy place for a quick getaway on the water. It is rare to find a 6 bedroom home that is single story. This makes for a great place to entertain those that don’t enjoy going up and down the stairs or for multigenerational groups to gather.

We are on in the middle of a quaint cove that offers calmer waters for fishing/swimming and water play while still seeing the open waters of Cedar Creek lake. We are an easy boat drive straight across the lake to the marina and Tiki Hut or boat over to Vernon’s for additional lakeside dining.

We are also in a great location that is minutes to town for shopping or a quick Walmart run rather than a 30-40 minute drive from other parts of the lake. This house is the total package for your group!
