Fantastic stay. The property was sparkly clean. Open floor plan. Stunning views. A quiet neighborhood we didn’t have time to explore but we saw a doe with her fawn a few blocks down. We originally booked it for 4 days but decided to change it to 2 days - we regret this decision … this is a place that you and your loved one could enjoy peaceful time together. Highly recommend.
The bluff cottage was the perfect home base for our adventure elopement to Olympic National Park. The views were incredible and we loved being able to feed the deer in the morning. Quiet, private, clean, stunning! Romit was amazing at communicating and offering suggestions for local places to eat and seeing the sites! They even left us a cute little newlywed basket with wine and candles. It was the perfect touch! Can’t wait to come back for an anniversary! Book this adorable cottage, you will not regret it!

Thank you for your kind words! We are so glad you enjoyed your time at Bluff Cottage!! We cannot wait to host you again!
We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the back deck overlooking the Strait after coming back from hiking around Olympic national park. Very close proximity to many activities. Very quiet and quaint.
The home: beautiful view of the water from the deck, from the living room and dining room, and from the yard. The amenities provided were great - adding a little extra snack option and having coffee/espresso was wonderful! The host was pleasant to communicate with and was very prompt in responding.
We were greeted by the deer as soon as we parked but didn’t know about the cracked corn yet. Immediately we knew our stay would be special. As soon as we viewed the house and stared out the back window, I wanted to cancel our vacation plans and just stay at the property staring at the ocean and watching the wildlife. This place was so cozy, clean and well stocked with delicious coffee, cream and sweeteners. We had all the basics we needed and thoroughly enjoyed this home and it’s proximity to Sequim and Port Angeles dining options. Feeding the deer was a fun plus! We cannot wait to come back. Wish the place was bigger so that I could share this with more family members.
Bluff Cottage is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. The cottage was very clean and cozy. Romit was a great communicator and host. Gorgeous views of the Straight of Juan de Fuca. We enjoyed watching the ships go back and the birds that visited every day. One day we were visited by an eagle, which is always a stunning view. The cottage was the perfect home base. After a day of exploring the Olympics we’d get back to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. We loved sipping our coffee every morning on the back deck and watching the deer while they grazed in the back yard. It was a lovely cottage to stay in and I would highly recommend staying here!
Ever-changing water views & perfect "home base" for the region
Can't say enough nice things about this property and the whole process of communication/rental with the owner. Romit provided timely answers to questions and detailed, extensive info on eating and activities in the region. Priceless. The home itself is the upstairs of an older home that has been stylishly updated/refreshed. It was thoroughly clean (I'm picky). Let me be clear- you cherish this place for the deck and direct, unobstructed views of the ocean but you don't mind when you must retreat into the open living/dining/sitting area with it's bright interior and boundless views through big windows. The space was "just enough" for our family of 3. Our teen claimed he had the best bed (the fold out sofa) with it's morning view and comfy/clean linens. We adults did not suffer in the spacious bedroom-had a great, quiet sleep. Kitchen was just big enough for our breakfast & lunch prep needs (coffee provided and very good!). We greatly appreciate the no pets and shoe-free interior (jandals/flip-flops provided by host). We spent as much time as possible watching the cruise & cargo ships go by (and coast guard helicopter fly-bys too)- and the lights of Victoria, Canada. Romit thoughtfullly provides binoculars to use. The deck can be a bit windy and guests must take initiative to fill the propane cylinder for the heater- not an issue for our longer stay but might be a hassle for shorter trips. Having a puffy coat or blanket was helpful to stay comfortable as the evening fell outside- even in August. Bald eagles stopped by one night as well as deer. We used this as a base to hike extensively in Olympic NP. Tips for your adventures: Excellent experiences with outings with Adventures through Kayaking and Discover-E bikes & a wine tasting at Harbinger Winery. Try the Tide pools at Salt Creek Rec area and the vast spit at Dungeness for your easy-going days. Salty Girls and Nourish topped the dining experiences. My only humble suggestion for future upgrade to the property, if feasible, that would put this place over the top for those of us who stay awhile, would be a washer-dryer. Romit's got a gem here and puts the effort in to be an excellent host! We look forward to a return visit without hesitation.
Being waterfront was nice and relaxing and made for a beautiful view. This house is conveniently located to Olympic National Park, which is why we were visiting. Overall, we had a good experience during our stay once a few hiccups were addressed. I would recommend staying here if you're passing through Port Angeles, or even just a weekend get-away.
This little house was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and nicely supplied. Gorgeous views of the Straight of Juan de Fuca. We watched the barges and ships go by and a cruise ship come into Port Angeles. It is located midway between Sequim and Port Angeles. The furnace for the forced air heat isn't the quietest. We turned it completely off at night and slept like babies.
We absolutely adored staying here. It was the perfect place to enjoy so much the Olympic NP has to offer. The house was clean and comfy. It was a great spot to return to after a day of adventuring. We LOVED watching the ships, birds and deer. Just so peaceful. Highly recommend staying here.
This was a great house with a nice view and the sun even came out late afternoon for a nice sunset. Was only there one night on the way to Olympic National park but would have stayed longer. I did have to message the day of for check in instructions but got a reply right away.
The property was just as depicted in the photos. Very cute and comfortable cottage. The cottage was very clean (I’m picky.) Romit was very helpful and responsive. We arrived during the record breaking cold and snowy weather conditions. Romit helped by sharing road conditions for our trip there and for the surrounding area. Would love to visit again in the summer or fall.
My wife and I enjoyed our five night stay at Bluff Cottage. The home was clean, and well equipped. The selection of coffees was a nice surprise. We loved starting the day on the deck observing the birds and ships on the straight sipping a Nespresso. After a day of exploring the Olympics we’d get back to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. Romit was a super host: easy to contact and helpful. We hope to return soon.

My wife & I have lived in Seattle for 5 years and couldn't imagine living anywhere else! We love the PNW, and the Olympic peninsula is very special to us. We love to spend any time we can in Port Angeles! We love hiking new trails in the Olympics and love spending summers kayaking or paddle boarding!
We both love to travel and most of our travel revolves around experiencing local food, drink or wine, meeting local people and understanding the local culture! Our favorite place we've been to has to be South Korea!! When we aren't working, we love to explore local restaurants and breweries!
We travelled extensively and realize what a difference good hospitality and guest experience can make. We want your stay with us to be memorable and we want to ensure you have the best guest experience during your stay at our place! Whether its restaurant recommendations or the best hiking trails or any feedback you have that could improve guest experience, we would love to hear from you!
