Located at the very top of Mt. Nebo, this spacious 3 bedroom house sleeps 13, has East facing views which offer stunning sunrises with views of Mt Petit Jean and Lake Dardanelle. Located inside the Mt Nebo State Park w/ the Rim trail in the backyard as well as walking access to all hiking and Monument Biking Trails. Built in 2010 w/ large 2nd story deck that has a comfortable chairs surrounding a fire pit as well as dining table to enjoy the views and catch the dawn. A 3rd story deck off the master has a full size hanging daybed swing that is ideal for enjoying the magnificent scenery. Outdoor adventure awaits or relax and enjoy the views from the top of a mountain and feed the deer that visit daily. 3 Bdrm(3 Kings)-2 1/2Bath-2 Queen Pullouts-3 Twin Rollaways- This delightful home is set up for families and friends with 2 fireplaces and the back of the house lined with windows. Blown away!

Every little detail was so well-thought out and placed! Highly recommend to anyone. My family and I usually stay in the state park cabins on Mt. Nebo but this trip totally changed our minds! We sincerely thank Brett and Kimberly for sharing their beautiful home. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular Views! Experience of Wonder!

The main purpose of our trip was to have a location for family to view the solar eclipse. This house offered that and so much more. Clean and comfortable, with direct access to hiking trails, sunrises, sunsets, and all of the amazing nature gifts that central Arkansas offers, and yet, close enough to Dardanelle and Russellville to have access to groceries, gas and creature comforts! Brett and Kimberly were so helpful and responsive-excellent hosts! We would return to this slice of paradise for sure!

Perfect retreat

We can't recommend this home enough. We spent Thanksgiving week here with our extended family and had a perfect visit. The house is sparkling clean, beautiful, and comfortable. From the cozy blankets for the couches to the large closets to the well-stocked kitchen, there was absolutely everything we needed. The views are stunning; we watched the sunrise every morning. Brett and Kimberly were excellent hosts, responding to every message immediately. They even allowed us to host a large Thanksgiving dinner at the place and were incredibly gracious. This is the perfect place to spend a night or a week.

From making the reservation to opening the front door was easy as pie. Instructions are clear and answer all questions you might have plus a few more. My reviews are truthful. The home is lovely. You are generously supplied with all you would need and it is spotless. The owner's travel photographs are hung through out the home and we enjoyed looking at all of them. Only problem we had was having to leave too soon. Had a wonderful time.

Young at Heart - Girls Weekend

This is a lovely home, as shown on the VRBO website. This was by far the best equipped home we have stayed in down to little details that made our stay so enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped with great cooking pots and pans and baking pans and lots of spices all organized and easy to find. The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets for a great nights rest. And the views from this home were spectacular. Our group of 7 had lots of room to enjoy each others company both inside the home and on the outside balconies. I can't say enough about all the details that made our stay very pleasant. Thanks Brett and Kimberly. We had a great time.

The Cornwell name is well known on Mt Nebo, Arkansas because we have had family on the mountain since 1915. It has always been our happy place for all me and all my relatives. A little before 2010, the state acquired our original family home, which is at the drive of our new home which we built in 2010. We have made some of my most favorite memories at this home and now welcome you to enjoy the stunning views, incredible sunrises and sunsets and a peaceful retreat that offers a great outdoor adventure. I hike every day while there and love the hiking and people that make Mt Nebo so special.

Why they chose this property

This home has incredible mountain views, with a modern interior design that allows you to have the best of both worlds. The exterior decks on the back of the house are truly the draw of the home. Wake up with the sun on the hanging daybed swing, or grab a glass of wine around the outside fire pit while you watch the clouds pass and the birds flying by. Say hi to the hikers as they go by tackling the Rim trail or hike one of the many great hiking trails that draws and challenges people from all over. If you are looking for ambiance and breathtaking views, look no further. All of the modern conveniences with the mountain right outside your door. Some can stay and enjoy a good movie by the fire while the hiking calls to the others as they tackle the mountain. Travel to Petit Jean for a stunning waterfall hike and good meal after or make a run to Branson or Hot Springs for a day trip of fun. Perfect for a jumping off point while still feeling secluded on your mountain.

This Arkansas rental home is close to so many things yet still sits on top of a mountain that will make you not want to leave. Drive up a switchback to find a little slice of mountain paradise at the top. This beautiful mountain home has one wood burning fireplace in the main living room and a propane gas logs fireplace with a sectional in the other living room and large TV giving you two living rooms to function in. A spacious kitchen and 2 1/2 baths make it is to enjoy all the amenities while the spacious bedrooms all have their own TV's and all have views. The deer love to gather in the front and side yards while the entire back of the house is covered in windows to let you see what being on the top of a mountain on Mt Nebo is really about. Truly a unique and fun experience. This Mountain top home is the perfect place to stay on Mt Nebo but there are so many places close by that make day trips fun and adventurous.
