Close to everything and still private and secluded

We had a lovely stay in Plymouth. The house was perfect for the family -- my wife and two boys (a tween and a teen). Close enough to town to walk (less than 15 minute walk); close to beaches and historic sites. The house is in a lovely neighborhood, but the yard is very private with mature gardens and shady trees.
