The cabin has a beautiful mountain view. I would note that the driveway is really difficult to get up on the last turn. Having that noted in the listing would be helpful for people that arrive at night. The people sleeping in the basement were freezing. I would also recommend getting a space heater for the basement because the rest of the house was a good temperature and another thing of note was there were a lot of stink bugs on the pillows in the bedrooms, I know it’s a cabin in the woods, but we pay a lot of money for a cleaning fee so less bugs would be ideal. Lastly, the dishes in the cabinets smelled really dusty and some were greasy when we pulled them out. I would recommend taking out the rubber mats that line the cabinets. I think they collect dust. Other than that, it was a beautiful cabin with beautiful amenities. We loved the hot tub and the fireplace. Thank you so much for a beautiful house to make so many family memories in.

Grin and Bear It - Exactly Right!!
Once you finally get to the property, the view alone will take your breath away!! The clouds coming up over the mountains were magical and the smell of the fresh morning from the deck off the main floor was mesmerizing. The house comfortably accommodated all 14 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!
We really enjoyed our vacation and it was very nice and secluded in the mountains. We had a blast and only had problems with wifi but other than that was an awesome vacation
Well to start the cabin was not ready at check in. The pull out beds had bugs and food in them. The trash was not picked up and the bins were over flowing. The refrigerator leaked and water was in the kitchen floor so we had to place a towel on the floor. The comforters need to be washed badly. The towels were in the dryer which is no big deal but the cabin was not ready until 430-445 there were even cobwebs in the windows . I wouldn’t even let my grandchildren sleep downstairs because of the bugs in the mattress. I told the management they needed to throw it away. It looks like it has urine stains on it. I also think that on the actual description of the cabin, it needs to be noted that this property is very high up with very steep terrain. Just so people know what they’re getting into. I had to have somebody drive me up because my car was sliding on the gravel. Very scary— now the view was beautiful but I did leave Sunday evening because when I left the mountain to go site seeing I was not going back up it. I requested a partial refund and the management said that it wasn’t possible . I reported all the issues the very next morning after check in because that night I had driven over 10 hours to get there. I ate a sandwich and went to bed. I did not realize the issues until the next day when I reported everything. I even sent pictures. I can send pics to you if needed.

Beautiful views
The view was amazing, and quiet. We was next to last house on the mountain. My niece did leave her iPad behind I contacted them and they shipped it back to us. Thanks for doing this. ( I did pay shipping) The only complaint I had was they had a gas grill with two propane tanks but both was empty. I texted/emailed them about it was told they would look into it after we left at cleaning day but I was told 4 days later they didn’t have any record and I had erased mine already.

Thank you for sharing your experience, we're pleased that you liked our home and had a great stay! That said, we apologize for the issue you encountered with the ice maker and our local manager noted that it has been disconnected. We appreciate your feedback as we view it as an opportunity to improve and we hope to host you again soon.
Not able to use the shop that was supposed to be included in the rental, there was a dead rat inside one of the light fixtures above the washing machine, the house was not kept up very well, and it was a hard location to get to even with large 4WD trucks, I will not recommend this home as a rental and I really don’t want to use any property listed with Vacasa because although we reported these issues our complaints were not taken seriously and nothing was done about them.

Good and Bad
This property had the potential to be exceptional, but it was ultimately marred by several issues. The location's accessibility was somewhat challenging due to the gravel road with sharp turns, which may require a pickup truck for navigation. Unfortunately, the exterior and surrounding yard were not well-maintained, with noticeable dirt and unkept grass. Regular pressure washing and lawn maintenance would significantly enhance the property's appearance. The hot tub was a notable exception, but several problems arose. Trash cans were overflowing, the grill was inoperable due to empty propane tanks, and the game room/shed was in disarray. Broken pool and foosball tables, limited cues, and no darts for the dartboard further detracted from the experience. Although the interior was clean, and the air conditioning worked well, issues with the refrigerator, dishes, and laundry facilities detracted from the experience. The washer functioned, but the dryer did not, necessitating the hanging of wet clothes. With renovations and improved maintenance, this property could easily achieve a five-star rating.

Quaint with Beautiful Mountain Views
This is an older home with 3 levels of living space. Beautiful views are right in front of the cabin and we all enjoyed looking at the clouds rise up over the mountains! We also saw some wild turkey walk in front of the house, too. The kitchen has newer appliances and everything worked…so did the grill outside. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. It is not a luxury listing so keep that in mind but for the price we paid and the memories we were able to make it was priceless. A space heater could be used on the bottom level because it gets a lot colder there than the rest of the house. The outside building is not heated either so a space heater would be useful there as well.
Please do not ignore other -ve reviews which say lot about property. we ignored them the place is not clean (blood marks on bedsheet, smell, dirty towels, leaking fridge, place pourch was not cleaned . Advertised content was not provided access and they respond you quickly but they take no action. its like talking to deaf who pretends he understood you.property rental is not cheap also , my suggestion pay 100$ more and get the better ones around.

Not what you see in pictures
The actual home was much more run down than the pics lead you to believe. The doors had been broken into and didn't lock ..we had to barricade them with chairs at night. The pool table was leveled with grates from a grill and duct taped together. The grill was broken and cooked unevenly. The fridge constantly leaked water on the kitchen floor.
We had a great stay at this location in the mountains! We were a little nervous because of some of the reviews- some turned out to be true while others had been addressed. The driveway was gravel and long… but this was no issue at all for our vehicles… and almost welcomed because we were off the beaten trail and enjoyed being remote. A great view! It was very clean! A little sparse on the kitchen utensils, no dishwasher and the fridge leaked a bit. We also had to use a back-up key because the keypad didn’t work- but were thankful for the backup key and quick communication with the property manager. The garage was super fun for the kids and we enjoyed the bonfire pit. We were thankful to have found the strung lights near the pit because it was on the far side of the garage. All-in-all… it was a better experience than expected, a great stay… and we all had fun and enjoyed it!

Stephanie, thank you for sharing your experience, we're so glad your family enjoyed our home! It's great to know that you had fun and that our home's location served you well. That said, we apologize for the areas you found in need of some TLC. Our local manager noted that the battery in the keypad had recently been changed, but they will inspect this and address as needed. Additionally, maintenance will check on the refrigerator and we thank you for your feedback. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again soon.
The house is disgusting, filthy dirty, mold and mildew in basement and bathrooms. Carpeting has not been cleaned in a long time, stains everywhere including vomit. Hot tub stunk and was cloudy, no way would we ever get in it. Cigarette butts and bottle caps everywhere. Several inches of leaves all over the deck, stairs, and patio. The road to the house is terrible, not maintained, ruts and narrow. There is no way that we could have gotten to the house in our corvette, good thing the car we drive has all wheel drive. We could go on but let the renter beware, we will probably never use VRBO again, and deserve a full refund.

Thank you, Rodney, for your feedback! We’re sorry to hear that the home was in this condition upon your arrival - please know that this is not the regular standard for our properties. We have implemented a Premium Clean program so we can continue to strive to provide our guests with fulfilling experiences; We apologize for any missteps, as it is never our intention to disappoint. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future!
Lovely secluded place that was overall comfortable. The views are incredible & we loved being on top of the mountain. Be prepared for the 1 car wide, well maintained gravel path up. There are a few turn offs if you meet someone. The house is in need of a few fixes. They are the same issues others have mentioned in their reviews from over a year ago - leaking fridge, few lights not working, 2 broken bed frames (creating sags in mattresses), & a heavily damaged entry door. These all take our rating down. Sad none of these things have been resolved! It will sleep 14 as pictured and described but kitchen amenities & number of towels provided do not support nearly that number of guests. Nor does the size of the grill. Take TP as we arrived to find only a 1/4 of a roll for the entire house. Game room has missing/broken items. Is a bit musty in there. They do have a nice book collection in the house.

The worst place I’ve ever stayed
It was absolutely disgusting. The carpets are incredibly stained, as are the bedspreads and sheets. Whole house smells like smoke, there were dead bugs everywhere inside and out. The bathrooms are missing multiples pieces of tile. The porch was filled with mildew, mold, leaves, and bugs so it made it totally unusable. No trash can in the house. And it was never mentioned that the last mile to the house was a mile long, steep gravel road. That isn’t a huge deal but should be mentioned in the listing. I was driving a small car and scratched the front multiple times due to the bumpy road steep driveway, so I would have appreciated if I had known that might have been an issue. So beware, the pictures in the listing and the description are totally staged and do not represent the state of the house AT ALL.
