Phenomenal house for groups traveling to the Raleigh area. They had everything we needed and plenty of space to hangout. The host provided everything we needed. I highly recommend to any guests looking to stay in this area. Thank you host!
We came for a NC State football game. Lots of open space to tailgate at the house both inside and outside. We had an issue with the WiFi during our stay and one of the remotes was also missing batteries. The host came by and resolved both issues in a timely manner. Would stay here again! Great for large groups.
Ideal for large groups. We had a family Christmas gathering with 24 people which worked great. Extra tables and chairs to set up in basement. Everything is properly utilitarian so there is nothing to damage, allows everyone, from kids to adults, to have a nice time socializing. Neighborhood very strict about parking policy so plan accordingly.

Cheaply appointed
No televisions in the bedrooms- “6th” bedroom is a bed and dresser in the basement- not enclosed from rest of basement. Furnishings were dated and not very comfortable.
Backs to highway- lots of road noise
Needs a deep clean
Communication with owner was easy and he was kind.
Overall, this home needs some attention.
Decent property but needs just a couple of things. We were surprised there wasn’t a dead-bolt lock on the front door and the front storm door needs a new handle, it’s stripped.
FYI - the property directly to the left of the property is abandoned and shows dilapidation, there is an abandoned car in the driveway. It’s an eyesore.
I was misled by the listing that there are 6 bedrooms. It has 6 bedrooms and a double bed in the basement, no privacy.

Mini Mansion turns into major disappointment
Of all the many VRBO properties we have used over the years, this was the most disappointing.Downstairs area unusable,..not heated, Master Bath one sink didn't work...no water. Front porch no bulbs in light. Sleeps 6 but only seating for 6 for dining. Dishwasher leaks. No Ice maker. No hair dryer.Lowest possible level of TV service. No book of instruction regarding Wi Fi info, garbage directions, exiting instructions.I believe a refund of some amount is in order...please advise

We appreciate your feedback but we do not agree with your assessment nor do the previous two thousand other guests who stayed before you. Regarding a simple issue like checkout instructions. We sent you a message that stated there are no checkout instructions. We feel that the up front cleaning fee you pay is just that, a fee you pay for cleaning. In general we provide around the clock support and communication To quickly address any issues and concerns bought to our attention.

Disappointment
First I want to say Tim was great! Every message quick response and was very great to work with.
On the other hand this house has so much potential but as soon as we walked in the house smelled like straight sewage. It was so strong I couldn’t believe it. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were only there for a short amount of time and didn’t have time to go anywhere else we definitely would have left! Second all the carpet upstairs and the stairs on top floor were soaked I believe this house has a major roof leak which I think made these bugs upstairs that looked like the kinda bug that live in damp places come out (which was in my teenage girls bed when they woke up in morning like a centipede thing) & ants omg we left one food item on counter when we went to bed and the while counter was covered in ants! For the price my family and friends paid we all very disappointed.
Don’t let the previous review scare you, this house is great! It is clean and spacious with a perfect location. Honestly, the pictures do not even begin to due this home justice. We hosted our family Thanksgiving with 14 people and had plenty of room both inside and outside. Having 2 full kitchens was awesome. Some helpful tips, do pay attention to the bedroom layouts. There are plenty of beds but there are multiple beds in each room so there will be some room sharing. The 6th bedroom is a double bed in the studio style basement. There is no formal dining room but there are 3 folding tables and 10 folding chairs available and fit nicely in the basement entertaining area. There are 2 TV’s (one in the living room and 1 in the basement). Tim is very helpful and responsive for the few questions we had. This was the most wonderful 4 days spending time with family, playing cards and board games (we brought our own games), enjoying the back deck and watching NC State beat UNC! Thanks Tim and Jen for the wonderful space. Go Pack!!!
This property is way better than the pictures. We had a great time with the women of our church for our annual women's retreat. The layout of the basement allowed for everyone to be together for games, meals, and time together. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and amenities for all. Thanks for the great stay!
