Historic neighborhood, Georgian architecture, proximity to downtown and NCSU, beautiful furnishings, pro-style kitchen, hardwood floors, downstairs master suite, spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms make this home one of a kind. This home is great for families who have an event in Raleigh or want to have an extended visit this part of NC. The location is ideal and there is nothing left out of the home furnishings.

There is a separate basement apartment that has a tenant. The basement apartment has no access to the main house. Tenant uses the driveway in the rear of the home.

QUIET HOURS: Observe quite hours after between 10pm and 8am.

Great House for Graduation!

Our family stayed here when our son graduated from NC State. The house was great! Plenty of space for a family dinner. Plenty of room so we didn't feel on top of each other. The location was super convenient for trips to the airport, to restaurants and breweries, and shopping. It was a wonderful place to celebrate.

Perfect Wedding Weekend Stay

Our family of 11 from the Northeast stayed here for 4 nights while in Raleigh for my son’s wedding. It was the perfect accommodation with plenty of space to spread out. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were, how beautiful the house was and how convenient the location was to all the weekend festivities and Raleigh points of interest. We had everything we needed and had absolutely no issues. I highly recommend this home for a group trip!

Wedding in Raleigh

Fantastic home! Five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms was the draw, but the home was large, comfortable, beautiful. The front porch with it's comfortable chairs and rockers became the favorite family meeting space. Walking distance to downtown restaurants, and easy access to the freeways. Simply a perfect venue for a large family group.

Beautiful Home in the Heart of it All

This house is amazing! So much space! Very large primary bedroom on first floor with extra spacious bath and walk-in closet. 4 incredible bedrooms upstairs! Also, an amazing front porch in a quaint neighborhood. We stayed here for our daughter's wedding at Market Hall in downtown Raleigh. We could not have picked a better place. In walking distance to many breweries, bars, and restaurants. You can walk to downtown (several of us did) or take a very short drive. An absolute gem! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful family getaway!

The house is beautifully restored with every amenity you would need. The beds are very comfortable and each bedroom has a ceiling fan. The kitchen is large and well appointed. The dining room table seats 12 comfortably. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch, with ceiling fans to help keep us cool. Downtown Raleigh, with all its restaurants and bars, as well as the Capitol and museums are all within walking distance. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. This was my first experience with VRBO. They set the bar pretty high!

Spacious home in fantastic neighborhood close walkable to downtown Raleigh

We had 11 family members staying in this home so that we could attend a niece's wedding in Raleigh. The house is nicely furnished and having each bedroom with its own bathroom was so convenient. My 86 year old mother was able to use the main floor master suite, which is beautifully appointed. The huge dining room table allowed us to gather for a family dinner on Friday night. We loved being able to walk through the friendly neighborhood to restaurants and shops. The homeowner is friendly and easy to communicate with . If you are heading to a parents weekend or graduation for Peace College or NC State, this is the perfect spot for your family. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing Place to Stay!

We stayed at the Jelly Inn for my son's wedding in Raleigh. The house is wonderful! It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked with any cooking item you can imagine. It is rare to find a clean, well kept home that has 5 bedrooms with each having it's own bathroom!!! Plus . . . . it has 2 sets of washer and dryers and parking around back. There were 10 guests who stayed in this home, and all were very satisfied with the accommodations. My parents particularly enjoyed sitting on the front porch while all the hustle and bustle was going on inside. LOL The owners were very responsive to any questions I had. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing stay, in a clean home, with plenty of space for all to enjoy. Staying in your home made our weekend that much more memorable! We stayed at Jelly Inn to celebrate the wedding of a nephew in Raleigh. The house was absolutely perfect! It was comfortable for all 8 adults, felt spacious yet cozy. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and shops to spend time together as a family before and after the wedding. My family had a blast!

Great stay for a family wedding

We had a very nice stay at the Jelly Inn. Five bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, made this an ideal house for our family to attend our son's wedding. A nice office also gave us a place to get some work done away from the chaos. The house is close to downtown, with lots of restaurants and things to do close-by. We were very happy with our stay; thank you to our VRBO hosts!

The house was built by the owners in 2004. They lived in the house until it was converted into a short term rental. Steve is a retired builder and Brenda is a retired CFO. They are now serving as the pastors of a local church. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren, hiking, reading, and traveling.
