Welcome to Skippin' Stones - Peaceful Lake Norman Getaway w Hot Tub!

Welcome to Skippin' Stones! This waterfront home has so much character inside and out. The great room has vaulted ceilings and large windows offering tons of natural light and wonderful waterfront views. The master suite comes with a private balcony and a great Lake Norman view. Sitting on over an acre this yard is complete with a fire pit for roasting smores, a hammock for napping, and a porch swing for enjoying a good book. Take a stroll down to the dock where you will find 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards & a paddleboat included for your enjoyment. This spot on the lake is calm, quiet, and perfect for an adventure while yet just around the bend you are into big water for tubing & water skiing!

The spacious basement provides all of the indoor entertainment for your crew. From the Smart TV for movie night or the pool and poker table for game night, there is plenty to keep the fun going after a long day in the sun.....and at night, you'll love the hot tub or making S'mores around the fire pit!

Have a boat? Bring it with you and store it at the private dock on the property.

Great Getaway!

The house was exactly as the posting and perfect for our stay. We visited our son who is attending NTI and the house was very comfortable. It's an older home, well taken care of with lots of room for our group. Kids hung out in the basement game room, hot tub & on the dock when it was sunny. We'll be back if it's available!

Some improvements

Not really a complaint but suggestions. The TV had no instructions on how to use the remotes. The paddle boat was half submerged.The kayaks were infested with spider webs. We could not use either.

So Much Fun!

The overall property was beautiful, well-appointed, and conveniently located on the lake. The property management was communicative and responsive to questions and concerns. Upon arrival, the house was dusty and there were some issues with bugs in one of the beds. Also noted a leak from the ceiling on the first floor. Overall, a great trip!

Weekend Getaway

10/10 Everything about this property exceeded expectations! The house has such a nostalgic lake house feel, and the back yard was so private and absolutely beautiful. We got lucky with good weather and took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards provided.
