Cape Utopia - we found utopia in Cape Charles! A fantastic, beach town and historic home with everything you need. Enjoy the park, playground, and running track nearby, sample all the shops, restaurants, & bars 2 streets over on main street, and walk, bike, or drive your golf cart rental to the beach. Then come back to your quiet utopia on a residential street and enjoy the darling front porch, as well as the well-equipped home. We have provided everything! Linens, baby/toddler/kid items, beach chairs, beach towels, and blankets, smart TVs throughout the home, in addition to a kitchen with all your needs. Don't stress over packing, just grab a swimsuit and come enjoy our sweet little beach town! Check out our sister property Cape Serendipty (the other side of the duplex) if you need more space.

Summer vacation

This is the third summer staying in Cape Charles and our second stay in Utopia! We LOVE staying there. The accommodations are top notch the house is well appointed and the porch is your favorite place to be!

It was the first time to St. Charles and we had a great time. The property was fantastic. Very clean and charming. It was perfect for a weekend. The check-in process was a little complicated as we didn't get our check in information until an hour before we arrived. But everything else was perfect. Definitely recommend.

Cape Utopia was amazing. Everything as pictured. Easy walk to pretty much anywhere in the city. Right down the road from a beautiful park. Elizabeth has thought of so many little details for her wonderfully decorated, old-world charm home. The porch was fabulous for reading and just relaxing.

Clean, neat, charming. AC was a slight issue, but I know she is working on correcting problem Also, not a problem, but just know there is no communication about check in until it’s time to check in. But very cute house.

This older home has been lovingly restored and is nicely decorated with period pieces. We felt safe having our family here, including a one year old. The rent porch was my favorite place to sit and relax. Issues that arose or questions that came up were promptly handled by the host. We enjoyed our time in Cape Charles and in this charming home.

Great vacation home in Cape Charles

We really loved staying at this home. It was stocked with literally everything you could possibly need. The beds are super comfortable, it was easy to keep the cottage cool, the location is great, and they were pet friendly which was great for our first vacation with our pup. The home is a great mix of vintage and antique charm but modern amenities - the bathrooms are great!

Early October on the Eastern Shore of Virginia

What a great trip! Our first trip to the Eastern Shore and it won't be out last. What a terrific VRBO. It had everything we needed and more. Loved the historic home. Our host, Elizabeth, was attentive and welcoming. We will be back to Cape Charles and we will return to this home. The location was centrally located and we enjoyed our walks to the beach and to the main street area. Can't recommend more highly!

A Cute House in a Cute Town

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Cape Charles and staying at Cape Utopia. The property was clean and spacious and the neighborhood was really quiet. I particularly liked sitting on the porch in the morning with my coffee, reading my book.

Great family week

We loved staying! We have been to Cape Charles before but this was the best week so far! The house was perfect for our family. We had friends vacationing in town as well and loved the front porch and plenty of space to have them over for dinner. The house was clean, well appointed with ANYTHING you need. The host was amazing and we are looking forward to returning!

Great little gem in Cape Charles

This property was a great find for our first time in Cape Charles. We stayed with another family and had three young kids. Lots of toys and kid/baby supplies that made our trip easier. FWIW you’ll get the code to get into the house after the cleaners leave on the day of check in. Good communication with the owner.

What a GEM!

Everything...absolutely everything you need to have the perfect stay has been thought of for you here at Cape Utopia. Fully stocked kitchen & pantry, beach needs, town information, linens, books, games, magazines.. it just goes on and on! There has been a HUGE amount of care into creating a comfortable vacation haven for you to enjoy. We would not hesitate to return here for another visit to Cape Charles!

Mother’s Day/Birthday getaway

We surprised my mom with a trip to Cape Charles. She had never been. so she was delighted. We have stayed at this location before. It is perfect for us. 😊 the house has so much charm and they have thought of everything you could possible need and more. This is our first choice when coming to Cape Charles. See you next trip. 😊
