This spacious private 1 Bdr 1 Bath provides guests with a relaxing place to stay while visiting the Colorado Springs area. With the Air Force Academy only 8 miles away and the beautiful Garden of the Gods only 15 miles away, this makes it easy for travelers to have a home base during their Colorado adventures. After a long day of sight seeing we provide guests with a large private hot tub that is perfect for a relaxing evening. There are many great bars and restaurants close by, but if you would rather stay in and cook there is a 2 burner stove, microwave, large fridge, and dishwasher to fulfill your needs.

Cozy suite with hot tub

Stayed here to attend a wedding in Palmer Lake. Very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing getaway with terrific hosts

Relaxing neighborhood property with just enough of everything one might need. Property manager was very easy to communicate with, and super-accommodating with our special request (early access).

One of the Best VRBOs I Have Stayed At

This place was clean and absolutely charming. My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights for her lacrosse tournament and it was perfect for what we needed. Close to the academy and getting around Colorado Springs was easy. I will absolutely stay here if it’s available and I am in the area!! Thank you for opening up your home to us! ❤️

Monument, CO visit

All comments are said in kindness as this review is submitted with only constructive criticism meant. The apartment is comfortable as soon as a guest is able to adapt to a few conditions. (1) It is set back underneath the home of the owner, and access to it is under their deck, therefore there is no direct sunlight entering, since it is shadowed by the deck. (2) The heating/cooling is directly controlled by the owner, so a fair communication has to take place so the temperature can be set properly for comfort to accommodate the visitor. (3) The air vents on the ceiling (3 rooms) can be closed, but they are hard to reach by a short person. (4) The heating elements in the kitchen area are challenging to use and to control (a manual is provided) (5) The dining room table and stools are high, which can be challenging for a short person to step up to and use. (6) The shower stall needs safety handles to accommodate people who may be unsteady. (7) The shower stall door opens from the left and the control for water is on the right side wall. A visitor may get wet before they desire, while turning the water on. (8) It takes several minutes for the sink water to warm up. (9) The bed is very high, and a short person may actually need a stool to get up to the height of the mattress. Now - many very positive features: (a) The fireplace is very nice and easy to use. (b) The bed is very comfortable. (c) Washing machine a dryer to use as needed (d) Microwave oven, and toaster oven, and griddle available and easy to use. (e) Keurig very good and easy to use. (f) Large refrigerator and freezer (g) Comfortable furniture (h) Very congenial and helpful owners. Many positives and then other items that can use updating. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Beautiful, comfy, getaway!

Our stay was nothing short of comfortable, clean, and accommodating! There is a beautiful view of the mountains and plenty of privacy. Our hosts were quick to respond to texts and had great suggestions for trails near the area. It’s nested right between Colorado Springs and Denver which was perfect for our stay. We very much enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the mornings after all the trails we hiked! Wonderful getaway for anyone looking for some rest and relaxation!

Hiking Retreat

A great space for my wife and I, while we were in town for hiking. It was just what we needed, and very comfortable to come back to in the evenings, after being out all day. Madison was great to communicate with and a big help with trail recommendations. Overall a fantastic experience.

We just moved to Monument (North of Colorado Springs) in 2020 and we couldn't be happier, there are so many cool things to do in the area, like hiking, eating, shopping, paddle boarding, fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, you name it. We have two friendly Golden Retriever pups that love to join us on our outdoor adventures, Ralph and Louis! If our travelers need any recommendations of things to do in the area, we would be more than happy to help!
