About the host
Your host
I’m originally from Indiana, but have lived in 6 states & moved 10 times during my career in corporate America. Colorado is home now with 4 of my 5 kids & 6 of my 7 (soon to by 8) grandkids here. I enjoy being “Pops” to my grandkids, traveling, hunting, sports, skiing & riding my ‘03 Harley Davidson & of course participating in church activities.
Why they chose this property
20 + years ago, my wife & I had 3 children 10 & under but were praying for more. We wanted space so they could have an opportunity for outdoor activities like campfires & paintball, That’s exactly what happened; 4 boys & 1 girl. The area is tremendously convenient even though it feels like being in the country. 10 minutes to Colorado Springs, 5 miles to Monument & Palmer Lake. Less than an hour to Denver.
What makes this property unique
You’re not going to find a micro cabin like this anywhere in Colorado Springs, especially on 5 acres of horse property. If you want to relax but be close to everything & pay less than a hotel look no further.
