Beach House in Sunny South Mission Beach - Dover Ct.

Coronavirus Update - our units are professionally cleaned after each tenant.

This wonderful unit has just gone through a partial renovation (May 2020). New flooring and windows were installed, along with some fixtures, a fresh coat of paint and new moldings.

The unit is a 2 Bedroom 1 Bath unit that sleeps up to 6 people.

The house has a deck with a BBQ, table, and chairs. The unit has a full kitchen w/ dishwasher and a small dining area. This unit is great for any family looking for a great summer vacation at the beach. Washer and drier are now available; shared with only 2 other rental units.

Just a couple of blocks from Belmont park, the vacation house can accommodate a family of up to 6 people. Swimming, beach activities, even Sea World and the zoo are within a short drive.

Please inquire for rates for periods longer than two weeks. This unit is only rented as a short term rental, i.e. 29 nights or less, with no option to extend.

Overall it wasn’t a bad place. Close proximity to the beach. Close to belmont park. The one thing that I didn’t know or maybe overlooked. That it was a second floor unit. Probably might not have rented if id known. But in the end, no big deal. The BBQ on the deck is basically trash, so we didnt use it. The unit itself worked well for our family of four.

Had some hiccups in the beginning but hose made it right and quicky at that. Location was by far the best for the beach, Sea World and the zoo. Never had more than a 15-20min drive for anything we wanted to do.

Overall we had a great stay here for our trip! The garage was nice to have, we made sure to get a compact car which fit easily. Only issue was the overhead fans in the rooms. We couldn’t figure out how to keep the fan on while turning the light off since the pull cord wasn’t working. We utilized the box fans though and kept windows open since we were there during a heat wave. But the location was great, very close to the beach and other activities!

Great place to stay. Kitchen has everything you need even a crockpot. Bbq was clean which is usually not the case at other VRBO’s that I have stayed in. Excellent host. This is our 3rd time staying here and will be back!

Host was good, place was clean and every thing was in order, only issue’s would of been nice to have a box of Kleenex on the property, I’m glad we had a mid size suv, for our vehicle barely fit in garage. Could of been notified on the size of parking. Only real issue was the grill was way dirty, had not been cleaned in a long time, would of grilled meals instead of pricey restaurants

Property is located in a great location. Close to Belmont Park, but far enough away that the crowds are not as populous at the beach as they are near Belmont.

Location is absolutely great! While the space isn't huge, it was perfect for our family of 5. We were fully prepared to have our 1.5 year old sleep in bed with us, but a pak n play in the garage saved the day. Be mindful that the garage is tight, we rented a Jeep compass and it fit, but I don't think much bigger would. We made great use of the beach chairs and shovels as well. Would definitely stay here again if we return to San Diego!
