This is an oceanfront condo with incredible views of the beach and ocean. This is a quiet complex and is great for families with children because the beach is right in front of the complex.

There is no a/c, but it is not usually needed due to the breeze coming off the ocean. There are plenty of floor fans and ceiling fans in the unit.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Per the owner's request due to the city's permitting to have the privilege to rent their condo as a vacation rental if we receive a complaint from the neighbors of loud noises or partying of any kind, or if you have more people than allowed six in your group to the property, your group will be evicted and will forfeit your rent, cleaning fee, and the $1000 damage deposit. So please make sure this is the right type of property for your group.
Beachfront Condo! The condo has a modern beach theme. The condo overlooks the beach and boardwalk, with amazing ocean and beach views from the Living Room, Dining Area, and Kitchen. The balcony is off the Living Room to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. This condo is located on the second floor. (You will climb the stairs to reach the unit). The condo itself has two floors. The master bedroom and master bathroom are on the first floor, and the other two bedrooms and the second bathroom are on the second floor.
PLEASE NOTE: THE THIRD BEDROOM IS A BUNK BED AND ONLY SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN BECAUSE OF THE TIGHT SPACE. MEASUREMENTS: Mattress: 35 inches wide x 80 inches long

-Clearance from top bunk mattress to ceiling: 27 inches
-Clearance between top and bottom bunk mattress: 24 inches. SAFETY NOTICE. The bunk beds are recommended for children ages 6 and older. For younger children, parents or guardians should use their discretion based on their child’s ability to safely climb and use the ladder. Adult supervision is encouraged. No horseplay on or around the beds. For older or unathletic people, getting in and out of the bunk beds is difficult, especially due to the safety guardrails in place.
This condo is one of three vacation rental units in this complex. The other condos are VRBO listing number #1305969 a 2-bedroom and 2-bath condo, and listing number #2875970 a 3-bedroom and 2-bath condo. Both have full beach and ocean views. So if you have a larger group, you could rent one or more of the units for larger groups if available. Please check the calendars for available dates.
This beautiful condo is located in the heart of Mission Beach, just a few blocks from Belmont Park. The condo is just a few blocks away from restaurants and shopping. The condo is centrally located near San Diego County's most popular attractions including Sea World, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, La Jolla, Downtown San Diego's Gas Lamp Quarter, Coronado, Del Mar, and much more.
Amenities: This secured building includes a private garage parking spot for a mid-size car or mid-Suv. There is a Pack n Play available, a High Chair, Wi-Fi, (3) Flat Screen Televisions, a washer & dryer in the condo, Table, and Chairs for the Patio, Beach Chairs, Boogie Board, Beach Umbrella, Beach Towels, and Hair Dryers. We also have discounts to rent water sports equipment such as Paddle Boards, Jet Skis, sailboats, and Jet packs.
Suitability: 1. No Air Conditioning (ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms) 2. No Pets or animals allowed 3. No barbequing allowed 4. No Smoking allowed on property, balcony, or complex 5. No Elevator (must climb stairs to reach this unit) 6. No events allowed
Please check the Rates and Availability section for open dates and specific rates. There are 4- to 7-night minimums and sometimes shorter stays are available when there are gaps between booking reservations or based on the time of the year. During some holidays there are 3-day minimums. During June, July, and August the unit is available weekly, from Saturday to Saturday. To book Christmas Day, you must also book Christmas Eve, to book Thanksgiving Day, you must book Thanksgiving Eve, to book New Year's Eve, you must book New Year's Day and the other way around for all those holidays.
Cancellation: There are no refunds of the rent, tax, and cleaning fee for cancellations or changes to the reservation dates that are 30 days or less before arrival, and only the security deposit will be refunded. If the rent, tax, and cleaning fee are not paid 30 days before arrival, you will lose 100% of your security deposit and the reservation. Notice of cancellation or changes to the reservation dates must be in writing via mail or email.

The location of this property is unbeatable. We had a wonderful stay. The bunks are quick small but the other two rooms are great! The house is clean and also lived in. I would recommend it.

Amazing location! Could not be better for walking around & beach as well as shops & food- plus parking and close drive to destinations. The condo itself was clean & well kept- had all the necessary amenities . We really enjoyed our stay!
Can't beat the location! Building is on the older side but well maintained. This particular unit has been updated but not to the point where you feel like you're walking on eggshells trying not to ruin anything. It was great for my young children and wife. There are plenty of toys and beach equipment as well as an in garage parking spot. Beds were comfy and amenities were all there! Showers look beautiful and the view from the balcony was amazing! Owners were very responsive. We would definitely stay again! Everyone enjoyed it!
Great host, very accommodating. Loved the home, it had everything we needed. We love that it was located between Balboa and Pacific Beach. The beach is just steps away. Close to the public transportation, which we rode often. We will definitely be back!
Location of property was perfect and its number #1 selling point; close to everything and right on the beach. However, plates and kitchen supplies were not properly clean when we arrived and needed to re-wash cups and plates. The downstairs bed was very uncomfortable so mattress is probably due for a change. Would recommend to otherwise but should make sure your not counting on that bunkbed room for a child older than 8-9 yrs.

Regarding sleeping arrangements, the bunk room is best suited for children, which is reflected in the listing details. Many families enjoy this setup, but we always recommend reviewing sleeping configurations to ensure the home is a perfect fit for your group.

1 towel per person is not enough especially on vacation, unless you like to do laundry.Upstairs bathroom floor is gross. Artificial tree on patio deck died long ago. Really need to use the proper light bulbs especially in the wall sconces near the beds and throughout the unit. Not enough blankets for 6 people. Photos not representative of the unit.

The home is stocked with one bath towel and one beach towel per guest (up to 6 guests), which aligns with our listing details. The unit also includes a private in home washer and dryer for convenience during longer stays.
The property is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to each arrival. If anything is ever missed, we encourage guests to notify us during their stay so we can promptly address it.
Each bed includes a thick comforter, and 5 additional blankets are available in the unit. Lighting and furnishings are regularly maintained, and our listing photos accurately reflect the layout and amenities of the home.

Not all items are accurate in the description and pictures are from other units, like the balcony and patio furniture. The unit was very warn down and in need of a remodel. We were not able to sit on the patio furniture due to the chairs and tables being completely rusted through. The patio furniture was not safe. Additionally, the bunk beds in the kids room are incredibly small. The top bunk to the ceiling has less than two feet of clearance. We have 3 kids, ages 11, 12, & 13. All of the kids could not sleep on the top bunk due to this. When I presented this issue to the landlord, I was told that all kids have different preferences…The description needs to be updated. Lastly, I requested a partial refund since we were not able to use the kids room and patio furniture. We were all bummed we could not use the patio furniture to watch the sunset. The condo is old, dirty, and in desperate need of a remodel.

For future guests, we always encourage reviewing the listing details and photos carefully to ensure the home is the right fit for your group. The bunk room, in particular, is designed with younger children in mind, and we understand that comfort preferences can vary.
This is a beachfront property, and while we maintain high cleanliness standards, some elements may show natural wear due to the coastal environment. That said, we are very proactive about ongoing improvements and regularly invest in updating the home. Since the current listing photos were taken, several upgrades were completed in 2025, including a new living room couch, rug, coffee table, private patio chairs, and refrigerator—so the home is actually even more updated than what is currently shown. We will be refreshing our listing photos soon to reflect these enhancements.
Additionally, the boardwalk patio furniture was replaced on 4/11/2026 with brand new table and chairs.
We also encourage guests to reach out immediately during their stay if anything does not meet expectations, as we are always happy to address concerns promptly. In this case, these items were brought to our attention later in the stay, after we no longer had the opportunity to resolve them in real time.
We appreciate the feedback and remain committed to providing a clean, well maintained, and continuously improving space for our guests.

Property was very nice, just what we were looking for. Right on the beach, the balcony provided excellent people watching. Plenty of room for all of us. My only suggestion would be more kitchen towels, paper plates, and foil, baggies, that type of stuff.

Wonderful condo with convenient access to the boardwalk and walking ability to many restaurants/bars. The condo was very clean, beds a bit hard but we like that. Sectional in living room is super comfortable and seats many. Loved having a garage space as well!
We had a great time at the condo. The location was perfect for our family. Our 5 and 2 year old loved being able to just walk out the door to the sand, and they loved the selection of sand toys for them to play with. It was easy to walk around to the park and lots of restaurants.
