Perched on Marshall Cove, Summerset Cottage gives you immediate access to Islesboro's best beach. The gentle slope is perfect for young ones just learning to swim or searching for treasures. The gentle waves make for great paddle boarding or kayaking. Sip your morning coffee watching the blue herons fish for their breakfast.
The tranquil setting is located on the northern part of Islesboro, looking west to Belfast. It's incredibly quiet yet close to multiple trails, Durkee's General Store, sailing lessons, riding lessons and public beaches. Watch people come and go from the private pier just to the north of the cottage. The vaulted living room, fully-stocked kitchen and dining table look out over the water.
Set on a quiet 1.5 acres and set apart by ferns and trees, the house has three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The office is a great spot to take advantage of the super-fast (1-gig) internet service if you need to check in on things while you're away.

Islesboro is three miles across Penobscot Bay from Lincolnville, ME and is accessed by a 20 minute ferry ride. The ferry runs nearly hourly between 7:30am and 5:00pm. Islesboro is home to multiple trails, public beaches, two general stores where you can find most anything you need, a post office, a library, tennis and pickleball courts, playgrounds, a golf course, a community center with a cafe and an ice-cream shop during the summer months.
