Old, cosy apartment house "Chalet Almisräba". In the district of am Almis, 150 m from the centre, in a quiet position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, south facing position. In the house: central heating system. Motor access to the house. In Winter: please take snow chains. Parking at the house. Grocery 300 m, supermarket, shopping centre 700 m, restaurant, bicycle rental 200 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Firstbahn" 400 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 800 m, outdoor swimming pool 2.2 km, indoor swimming pool 600 m. Golf course (9 hole) 2.5 km, tennis 2 km, minigolf 300 m, sports centre 600 m, gondola lift 400 m, ski rental, ski bus stop 200 m, cross country ski track 2 km, children's playground 600 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thuner-/Brienzersee 18 km. Please note: no lift. Object suitable for 2 adults + 2 children. Ski bus (free of charge). The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Grindelwald.

Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Exit to the patio. Shower/WC. Electric heating. Parquet floors. Patio, south facing position. Terrace furniture. Marvellous view of the mountains and Eiger. Facilities: children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking at the house. Please note: suitable for families. Non-smokers only. Views from the patio were spot on. Pillows were uncomfortable. Didn't have any supplies like soap, shampoo, spices etc. all things that we are used to in other vrbo's, might be a regional thing. All in all a good stay for the money.

Great Chalet!

The chalet was perfect for my 4th week in Grindelwald. I have stayed in many places there and this was a favorite. The shower was excellent, there were lots of things to cook with and it was super sunny and private on the patio! Also nice to have a "real" refrigerator!

Beautiful location

Stayed in the chalet for 5 days in September. The location is beautiful with views of mountains on the back patio. The pillows were uncomfortable though, quite thin. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items. I would stay again.

Mooi uitzicht

Het appartement heeft een prachtig uitzicht. We zijn er nu 3x geweest, en we zien wel dat het kwalitatief achteruit gaat. Het matras krijgt steeds meer vlekken. Ook in de badkamer is te zien dat het hout van het badkamermeubel hard achteruit gaat. De afslag naar het huisje was heel rustig, maar men denkt het dal in te kunnen lopen, en daardoor is het echt heel druk, heel vervelend het zou beter zijn een bordje met ‘PRIVAT’ op te hangen aan het begin van de toegang tot de afslag naar het huis.

Prachtig uitzicht!

Het uitzicht was prachtig!! Ik vind het wel klein voor meer dan 2 personen. Bij aankomst was het stoffig. Ook jammer dat je voor 2 weken geen wissel van het beddengoed en handdoeken krijgt. We hebben wel overlast gehad van de bovenburen. Het zijn houten vloeren, en de bovenburen hielden niet echt rekening met onderburen, en dat ging tot diep in de nacht door. Stampen en stoelen schuiven.

Schön aber feucht und kalt

Wie der Titel sagt, eher eine Unterkunft vom Frühling bis in den Herbst. Zu kalt, zu feucht im Winter und die Aussentemperatur war noch nicht mal richtig tief.

praktische Wohnung mit Charme

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr praktisch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Küche ausreichend gross, so dass Kochen auch richtig Spass machte. Den Sitzplatz mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht haben wir genossen. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen und doch sehr nah am Zentrum.
