A Hidden Gem with Sandy Shore Memories and Island Views.

We once again are pleased to offer another cottage located on our private sandy shore, in a beautiful quiet bay, on crystal clear Skeleton Lake. Skeleton Lake, often known as "Muskoka's Best Kept Secret," is known for its Crystal clear waters, sandy swimming coves, great fishing, water sports, hiking and beautiful summer sunsets. Make your ever lasting memories in our new 3 bedroom family cottage that offers lovely views of the islands from the large Muskoka room while enjoying the fireplace. This is our 3rd cottage on the lake and has a similar feel to our Boathouse (VRBO 470888), and our 2 bedroom Cozy Cottage (VRBO 1861565). We have 3 bedrooms, a lovely large kitchen, cozy living room, large Muskoka room, 2 fireplaces and Satellite TV, WIFI, private firepit on the shore, spectacular views, boathouse with sitting area open to the islands and several kayaks, paddle boards, canoe and use of the paddle boat. This cottage is 20 - 25 minutes to Rosseau (Friday morning market on Lake Rosseau) or Huntsville for great shopping. This cottage rents for full week rentals only in the high season (Summer-last week in June to Labor Day), Friday to Friday. We offer 3 night min stays in the spring and fall. The cottage is set up with 3 bedrooms to sleep 7 people. It also has a pull out sofa bed to sleep two more for an additional cost of 75.00 per person per night. Please note that the attached rental agreement must be filled out and returned before the reservation can be confirmed. Our personal cancellation policy is outlined on the agreement not on the VRBO site. The Rental agreement can be accessed under the house rules section on the website.

Amazing cottage experience

We had an amazing time at this property, it was a beautiful and private cottage! The host Lorrie was so kind and reached out during our stay to ensure that everything was up to par. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend to stay here, we will definitely be booking a stay here again!

Just The Boys

Overall it was a great experience. If you don't have an SUV or an All-Wheel Drive vehicle it is a bit difficult because you cannot go down the driveway. The host was awesome. The cottage was clean. The best part was the lake. Be ready against the mosquitoes at night.

Perfect Getaway

We had booked this property as a final getaway before the summer ended and the kids went back to school. The cottage and location turned out to be everything we could have hoped for with amazing access to the water, very private beach area and really nicely done cottage with space to spread out as needed. The property had kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe that we took full advantage of as the cottage is tucked into a cove where the water stayed fairly calm even in decent winds. The owner and property manager where extremely receptive and accommodating making the check in and out very smooth. Would definitely recommend this location and look forward to booking again in the future!
