About this property

Villa close to beach with large south-facing terraces and stunning sea views

Beautiful Casa Ana is built in Andalusian style and has been recently completely renovated. It is two-storey and offers comfortable space for 2 to 6 people.

Both floors feature large terraces with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and nearby beaches of the Costa Tropical in Andalucia.

From here you can often watch dolphins playing in the nearby sea, or spend convivial barbecues on the large sun terrace and enjoy the wonderful sea views.

The house is detached and located in a quiet residential area, away from the hustle and bustle.

Nevertheless, up to the beaches of Almuñécar, the Aquatropic water park and numerous restaurants and shops it is only about 2 minutes by car or a 10 to 20 minutes walk. To the sea it is only about 80 meters beeline!

The American kitchen is open to the living room. The spacious living-dining room and both bedrooms have large panoramic windows with beautiful sea view. Also, the upper bedroom has access to the upper terrace. Both bedrooms and the large living-dining room with the open kitchen have air conditioning hot / cold.

The house has two newly renovated bathrooms with shower and WC.

For your comfort there is satellite TV, wireless internet access, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a private garage.

To the nearest beach, ample Playa de Velilla in Almuñéecar, it is only about a 10 minutes' walk (or a 2 minutes' drive) and many attractions, such as Granada with its world famous Alhambra, are within one hour's drive.

Location:
The Costa Tropical in Andalusia is situated between Costa del Sol and the Costa de Almería and occupies a beautiful part of the coast, which has the best conditions to spend wonderful holidays.

It is located right on the Mediterranean Sea and the proximity to northern Africa and Sierra Nevada with the highest peaks of the peninsula protect the area from the cold north winds. A subtropical microclimate with 320 days of sunshine per year makes it possible to cultivate tropical fruits in the lush valleys.

Getting here:
Arrival airport is usually Málaga (about 1 hour drive), but Almeria - a little further east – is not much farther away. Also Granada Airport is an option.

Gas is charged locally according to consumption (about 15 € / week).

100 kWh of electricity per week are included, which is usually sufficient for normal consumption without excessive use of the air conditioning system. Only an overlying consumption is calculated. Please keep the windows and doors closed when using the air conditioning to keep the power consumption in an economically and ecologically acceptable amount.

Estancia controvertida

En términos generales la casa estaba bien, pero hemos tenido contratiempos ajenos a nosotros que para solucionar alguno hemos tenido que emplear nuestro tiempo y consideramos que no nos correspondía. Los problemas han sido: Atasco de cañerías que han inhabilitado el baño de piso inferior durante un periodo de 5 días. La lavadora, ya estropeada cuando llegamos, no la hemos podido utilizar. La luz de la cocina no encendía desde el primer día. La luz principal de la habitación inferior no tenía potencia para iluminar un mínimo la estancia. La línea eléctrica para encendido de televisor eran alargadores tirados por el suelo. La mesa de la terraza tenía un agujero en su parte central con una pata que se caía cuando se movía. Hormigas todos los días tanto en la cocina como en habitación inferior. Desorden y suciedad en el garaje que no invitaban a meter el coche. En resumen, falta de mantenimiento evidente. Y lo peor es que los correos que hemos cruzado con el intermediario y el propietario nos hacen parecer los culpables de los problemas. No hemos recibido correo disculpa y lo único que les hemos pedido ha sido desde el principio una hoja oficial de reclamación para la Junta de Andalucía que todavía no nos ha sido remitida. Si estáis interesados tenemos fotos, videos y conversaciones de washap. Un cordial saludo

Restful stay but......

Just back from staying at Casa Ana and had a lovely time. Just a few pointers. We would definitely recommend a car as the villa is on a steep hill. Okay walking down to the beach, but not back up! Taxis were easy to get from the town, about 7 euros. The balcony furniture could do with being replaced and better cover from the morning sun as the small umbrella did not suffice. The one major problem was the ANTS which were everywhere. We had to buy cleaning products and sprays but still could not get rid of them. They were even in the bed in the downstairs bedroom. However the area is lovely and good food and beach bars. Everyone was very friendly and good mix of nationalities.

Ett trevligt semester hus

Allt är nära - havet, butikerna, restaurang... :-) AirCondition finns i varje sovrum och i vardagsrummet, köket är väl utrustad och allt finns med - och lite till. Jag vill berömma både hyresvärd och den lokala kontakten (som tar hand om huset) för ett trevligt bemötande och verkligen ett bra hjälp - de svarar snabbt på telefon eller SMS om man skulle ha frågor. Allt som allt - ett trevligt ställe att vara på. Vi kan tänka oss att komma tillbaka igen. :-)

Die Casa Ana befindet sich an einem Hügel, wo die kleine Straße direkt zum Strand führt und im 10 Minuten kann man am Strand sein. An der Strandpromenade sind zahlreiche Geschäfte und Restaurants, so dass man mittags bequem mal Essengehen kann, was hier auch nicht den Geldbeutel zu stark belastet, ein „Menu de dia“ bekommt man meist schon für 10 Euro. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet und hat allen möglichen Komfort. In allen Räumen gibt es einen LCD TV mit den Astra Programmen. Wenn man mal Grillen möchte so ist ein gemauerter Grill vorhanden. Eine Klimaanlage ist auch in den Wohn- und Schlafräumen vorhanden. Alles in allen ein schöner Aufenthalt und wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Herrliche Herbstferien und ein tolles Ferienhaus!

Wir haben hier herrliche Herbstferien verbracht! Jeden Tag sind wir zum Strand gelaufen und haben " Churros con Chocolate " gefrühstückt. Besser kann ein Tag echt nicht beginnen. Almunecar ist auch in der Low Season nicht ausgestorben; sondern " ein wundervoller Ort für unbeschwerte Ferien ". Die Kleinen waren begeistert von ihrer " eigenen " Terrasse im Erdgeschoss und sie durften ausnahmsweise vor dem Mittagsschlaf fernsehen. Wir haben dann " oben " den Grill angeschmissen und einfach nur das Leben genossen. WAS FÜR EINE PHÄNOMENALE AUSSICHT! Alles in allem ein unerwartet tolles, sauberes und gepflegtes Ferienhaus, ganz ganz liebe Vermieter; und man fühlt sich hier echt total glücklich und willkommen! Auf hoffentlich ganz bald wieder :)
