Hey Andrew , thank you for leaving the house so clean and tidy I really appreciate that.
The only thing that was an issue was all the tie top curtains in the downstairs the tie tops were broken/ ripped.
I know they are sometimes hard to slide on the curtain poles
Its no issue they were torn , the issue is not knowing about it so I couldnt be prepared.
I drive up from Perth to clean and its impossible to fix things like that if I dont know in advance.
Its really helpful to hosts if you can communicate these types of things.
I get that maybe you didnt even know if no one mentioned it.
Perfect beach house getaway form the big city, lots of space inside and outside of the house to relax. Beach was only a street away (can see it from the upstairs patio), great BBQ on wheels setup too so you can have a BBQ in the huge backyard.Didn’t bring any pets with us this time but perfect property for pets if you’re thinking about bringing any.Communication with the owner was great too, would 100% come back to this property.
The house is very nice, comfortable and clean. There is everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Close to the beach, the park and the shops. The communication with the owner was perfect.
Great location and house with ocean views from balcony.
Sitting on the balcony with a nice ocean view of a surf break and seabreeze blowing is a highlight. Nice and cool downstairs. Aircon upstairs bigyard with grass and big trees for shade. Helpful owners who answers messages promptly. Would definitely stay again.
Great facilities in the kitchen and comfortable beds
Was a good getaway, great location and space for everyone.

Thank you for coming to Teds and respecting our space, we like to think our quirky place appeals to other families too so its lovely to hear you enjoyed your getaway here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ted’s Rest. From the minute we walked in we felt so comfortable and at home. The 70’s decor added to the charm. It was the perfect house for the 8 of us to relax and unwind. The house is well equipped with all the comforts of home and in a great location. Our teenagers loved that they were able to have their own space too. The owners were great and very easy to deal with. We will definitely be back 😊

About the host
Your host
We are a small family of 3 and as ocean people living in the Perth Hills we decided to purchase this holiday home in Lancelin so we can get our beach fix when we need it. I previously lived and worked internationally and returned to Australia to have my son a few years ago which has opened many new chapters. We love all things outdoors from surfing to snowboarding to hiking and boating
Why they chose this property
Teds Rest is our little heart project that we would like to share with guests. The previous owners had this home for 37 and took great care of it so it has maintained its original 70s features, vibe and Lancelin beach house style. Teds is laid back and unpretentious, cosy yet cool ! Weather you want to relax and unwind or go crazy with activities Teds is a great place to hang out and use as your base
What makes this property unique
The location is tucked in behind large established trees yet still a stones throw to the beach, there are gorgeous sunsets and the late afternoon light that pours in the front of the property. We love being able to walk across the road to the shops, cafes or park. The large block is fully fences which allows you to feel safe in knowing the kids are protected. Bikes are all you need to get around the town.
