Our family absolutely loved the location and the unit. Great views and walking areas with access to the beach. Rooms were spacious and clean. Having a washer and dryer was especially appreciated considering how often the kids were wet from the pool and ocean. Parking also a major plus, and the shopping and restaurant scene nearby is easily walkable.As a bonus suggestion, hiking nearby in Annie's Canyon and the San Elijo Lagoon is a nice stop for birding and interesting terrain.The property managers were nice and explained the layout well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was very nice. It was clean and everything we needed was there. Pool and hot tub were perfect. The condo overlooks the road, but it was quiet. The only negative was the amount of steps and distance to the car made it hard to load and unload if you have a lot of baggage. We were there a month.

San Diego jaunt

Used Solana Beach as a home case for visiting San Diego and Disneyland. Property was even bigger than we expected. They accommodated our late check in. Would stay here again!

Perfect beachside getaway

We had a great stay here. We loved the pool and close beach access. The home had everything we could want and was the perfect place to relax after a long day of playing and sightseeing. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. You can’t beat the location for uncongested access to Solana Beach.

Solana Beach getaway

This is a perfect location to see all San Diego has to offer including beaches, restaurants and areas of entertainment. The property is very comfortable, well-kept, and has a nice pool and an area to see the beautiful beaches and sunsets, with easy access down to the ocean. Wish we could stay longer as there is so much to enjoy! Thank you!

Perfect vacation!

This condo was everything we could have asked for...the complex was quiet and serene with the beautiful landscaping and stream running through, located right on the beach, stocked with all the beach accessories we needed and within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. The condo was immaculate and the beds very comfortable. We enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it to others.

Absolutely fabulous! This is a remodeled modern beautiful condo with tons of room in the Seascape Sur neighborhood. 5-10 mins walk to beach. Pools with hot tubs on sight. 3 min walk to cliff overlooking beach. 10 walk to coffee shops and restaurants. San Diego condos do not have AC, so you will need the fan on to keep air moving. However, this unit has windows on both ends, so air flows through nicely. We are definitely coming back!

It doesn’t get much better than this

We stayed here in this condo in Solana Beach for a week and had an amazing time. It’s right by the pool and an extra large Jacuzzi which we used a ton. It’s very close to the ocean so we went there a bunch of times too. I brought my electric scooter and went down the 101 visiting different coffee shops restaurants and breweries. This might’ve been our best vacation to San Diego. I’m definitely coming back!

We were disappointed in the location. We were hoping to get at least a garden view, instead of the view of the road in front of us.

Great view of the beach and ocean from the other side of the condo complex. Finally, Solana Beach was the perfect place to stay. It had a nice medium sized town feel, while still being only 15 to 30 minutes from all places of interest in LaJolla and San Diego.

Cheerful condo in excellent location

The Solana beach condo is in an excellent location, perched above the bluffs and beach just north of Del Mar with great walking access to restaurants and shops. The unit itself is off the street so there is some noise and limited light and airflow, but the on-site pool and hot tub are very close, the parking is easy, and the development itself is charming and very convenient. The condo is large and nicely spread out for a family or small group, and it has many conveniences (laundry, extra bedding, beach chairs and towels, stocked kitchen). The only drawbacks for us were the lack of air-conditioning (which probably only matters in the hottest weeks of summer) and the somewhat dated beds and bathrooms. But overall, the decor is cheery and attractive, and this condo is a great option for the price point given its waterfront address, amenities and size. Cynthia was very responsive, communicative and helpful.

Why Solana Beach is where you want to sleep

We used to live in this area. Solana Beach is the only community up and down the coast that has mitigated train noise, which is round the clock. They were farsighted enough to dig a channel for the train tracks below street level so there is no roaring engine noise as trains pass at 2 am, and there is no horn blowing. The reason this makes a difference is because the train track is almost always a block or two from the beach all the way to the north edge of the county, and although it sounds insane, every other community is at the mercy of trains blasting through at all hours of the night. We rented a condo in Carlsbad for exactly one year about a block from the beach, and I'll always remember the first night being startled awake by one of many trains, thinking "How do people live like this?" If you sleep the sleep of the dead, no problem. If you're anyone else, it can ruin your vacation. This condo is also in a magnificently landscaped development, with waterfalls and koi ponds and lovely plantings, not to mention the stunning view of the ocean from the bluff. Highly recommended!
