Loved the tasteful contemporary decor, the gorgeous plantings and hanging baskets, the outstanding cleanliness, and the access to the Pacific Northwest outdoors. We hope to come back!

A Clean, Well-lighted Place

The location and access are great. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bed/bath/kitchen supplies were satisfyingly complete and clean. The outdoor covered picnic areas are a nice bonus, as is the adjacent coffee kiosk! I would stay again.

Very clean and full of nice surprises: A good shower head for washing long hair A boot drier! Great mattress Nice sink area and kitchen towel, scrubber sponge, dish soap and paper towels. Lots of counter: shelf space for the traveler One of the best little spots I’v stayed in.

The only choice we had.

Was accessible for my handicapped husband . Had three adults and the bed arrangement made it very uncomfortable . To get in and out of bed during the night.

Security system

Very difficult to lock/unlock room even when using the alternate key method instead of a long combination code. Terrible tv channel choices and no instructions. Utensils but no dishware. Unable to exit bathroom when the refrigerator was opened. Phone number didn't seem to give local help.

Tasteful contemporary updating —loved it —in lovely setting near a multitude of hiking trails of varying difficulty. Terrific free-standing coffee and snack stand run by friendly family who seemed to know every customer by name. ALSO, room had real mugs and glass glasses —not iota of disposable, single -use plastics. Hooray! Would happily stay at Mt Walker Inn again!!

This is a unique place to stay. It's one of like 6 hotel rooms, all in a row. There's plenty of space and a large closet without a door, but oddly nothing with drawers. The water pressure is amazing as is the black out shade. For the price, it was totally worth it.

It’s by a lot of campgrounds and general stores. Easy to find something to do for the day and then come here to relax. I love the coffee stand by the property. Another plus was the gazebo, many benches and covered seating area to enjoy the yard space outside.
