Family-friendly, pet-friendly home in a quiet neighborhood. You’ll rest easy knowing our home is in a safe area & will be impeccably clean for your visit.

Foodie wife gives a fully-stocked kitchen that’ll spoil you! Fully stocked with everything a cook could need! Like a Vitamix blender, 14-cup coffee maker, hefty Chef’s knife, electric hand-mixer, non-stick skillets, a giant ovenproof skillet (paella pan), and MUCH more! From the pantry and fridge, feel free to use essentials like storage baggies, baking ingredients, condiments, broths, coffee, vinegars, oils, plus every spice and herb you could need!

The kitchen is the social hub and HEART of this home, since it’s open to the living room and a breakfast bar-top, complete with 4 stylish barstools. The Master has a mesmerizing Travertine-tiled shower with a rare, deep, custom bathtub for two! All you need is to light the candles, run a scented bubble bath, dim the lights, play some soft music, and pour two glasses of wine!

Very comfortable beds, silky soft sheets, sunny skylights, board games, gas BBQ grill, & a fire pit. No neighbors behind (just trees), for some R&R and squirrel-watching. All lights on dimmer switches, to avoid too-harsh evening lighting. Feel free to use the washer, dryer, and our laundry detergent.

Our neighborhood has a playground and basketball court. A huge, fenced, off-leash dog park is just a 3-minute drive from the house; They have plenty of shaded benches to sit on, and a smaller dog side, too. Just a 5 minutes’ drive to the peaceful Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park. At almost 300 acres, it features miles of walking & hiking trails, an off-leash dog area, a scenic creek, swimming pool, playground, and sports and recreational facilities.

About 15 minutes to THREE popular, exciting areas for shopping, dining, nightlife, and live music: The Domain, The Arboretum, and Mueller. In Mueller, you can enjoy dinner and drinks while watching a movie (a new release or a classic) at one of Austin’s iconic Alamo Drafthouse movie theaters. About 20 minutes to downtown Austin, and also to Kalahari Resorts in Round Rock, as America’s Largest Indoor Waterpark (plus lots of dining, nightlife, and more).

For one-of-a-kind views of downtown Austin, borrow our inflatable kayaks to relax & sightsee from the water. We have TWO, easy to assemble, 2-seater kayaks, so a total of 4 people can go. Lots of fun and FREE to go to Town Lake near downtown Austin, to people-watch, look for turtles, jump off rope swings, and more!

Great home in a nice subdivision

This home was immaculate and had all the items we needed to have an easy comfortable stay. The furnishings are comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. The communication was excellent. Lara answered my questions quickly and made me feel comfortable after a bad experience with a VRBO a few months before. The location was convenient and the neighborhood was quiet and well-kept. I recommend this host and house.

Loved it!

The house was perfect! Beautiful home in such a nice quiet neighborhood. We all loved it. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommend and very pleased with our stay at this house.

Great family getaway!

The house was clean, well updated, had a well stocked kitchen and the perfect location for a family getaway. The owners communicated well and check in and check out was a breeze. The back deck was a perfect spot to hang out and enjoy the weather too.

I love surprising house guests with thoughtful gifts they weren’t expecting, providing plenty of helpful communication (AND also privacy), sharing our recommendations on can’t-miss restaurants and attractions (since I’m a foodie), and helping with anything else guests need.

Austin has something for everyone, and I want to share our city AND our home! For our friends, family, and travelling visitors, I love being a host who strives to anticipate everything a guest might want or need. And you’ll rest easy knowing our home is in a safe area & will be impeccably clean for your visit.

So … About us? We like camping, eating local delights and my healthy meal creations, sipping good beer, goofing around with our niece, & playing with our silly dogs, a pug and a boxer. We always have a 3rd dog “on rotation” since we volunteer foster pugs and pug mixes through Pug Rescue of Austin … over 33 dogs adopted into happy homes so far, woohoo!

Matt & I work a lot since I’m an Investor-Realtor staying busy in this market, and he’s a professional artist and craftsman who rocks at everything artistic! Later, we want to travel to more exotic destinations, like Greece, Japan, Morocco, and Romania. For now, we welcome travelers like you to get comfy & make yourself at home, in your home-away-from-home! :-)
