Take in spectacular views of the bay and Puget Sound from this wonderful, two-story vacation rental! This very inviting home boasts a sunlit great room with a well-equipped, full kitchen, a dining table for four, and a comfortable living area all illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows offering water views across the furnished deck. Head downstairs where you'll find your own washer/dryer, a convenient kitchenette with a minifridge and coffee maker, a family room with a foosball table and flatscreen TV, and your very own indoor hot tub! And outside, meet up on the deck where you can work on your tan, fire up the gas grill and dine al fresco, or just kick back with a cool drink on lazy afternoons.

There is a new house being built two doors down and will create periodic noise Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

Full kitchen plus downstairs kitchenette with minifridge and coffee maker.
The house will be decorated for the holidays: The whole month of November leading up to Thanksgiving (fall and Thanksgiving decor) and the whole month of December leading up to Christmas (winter and Christmas decor). This includes a decorated tree inside the house.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great vacation spot!

Beautiful house with everything one would want for a vacation. The house is on the beach and has a big deck, sandy beach area, and lots of interesting wildlife in the area. Loved it!

Great view and gathering space, well appointed

The view from this house is excellent. We saw Eagles and lots of other birds. It’s easily accessible to parks and restaurants on the island. The house had everything you might need in the kitchen as well as complementary toiletries and plenty of towels. The bedding was super comfortable. Hot tub was nice and clean. This was a great place to stay and we will be back.

Great view on Sunlight Beach!

We have stayed in 3 other properties at Sunlight Beach and this is by far our favorite! The beds were super comfortable. It was clean. The kitchen was well stocked and they even left a welcome gift for us. The best part was the view and watching the wildlife out the windows and on the deck. The walkway down to the beach was easy for my 74 year old mom. Thanks for an amazing time!

Great views, good floor plan and comfortable beds. Hot tub was fun! Toilet upstairs runs, kitchen cabinets need handles, hard to play cards on kitchen table because of condition and large and mini fly’s inside.

Great beach house getaway

I spent 3 nights with my 2 kids and we enjoyed our stay. Pros: beautiful view, small private beach, quiet dead end street, easy check in with simple code on front door, huge deck facing south, bright open space on main level, lots of linens (bath towels, beach towels, bathrobes, dishcloth in kitchen…) well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, nice layout with plenty of seats, nice beach theme decorations, few books for kids, clean house overall, well maintained, good wifi. Cons: floors weren’t vacuumed or mopped (I found hairs and dry lenses on the bathroom floor, cookie and crumbs on the floor near the hot tub, candies on the carpet in front of the sofa), too bad the wide south facing picture windows were not cleaned either (5 minutes with a squeegee would greatly enhance the view!) , downstairs was well heated but the main level was a bit chilly (there was AC if needed in summer though), on the pictures there were tables chairs, long chairs, tiny table and chairs for kids on the deck but everything was stored in the garage with no access to it (we had 2 sunny days over 4 where we could have get lunch outside, too bad…)

Location is ideal. Useless bay is a very smelly area, almost sewage smelling. Could smell it in the house as well. For the summer there really needs to be a larger umbrella on the deck so that people can sit out on the chaise loungers and enjoy the view and warmth without being beaten down by the hot sun. The umbrella on the tiny little table was way too small but a free standing umbrella for the chaise chairs would have been ideal. No where on the property to get out of the sun and still be outside. Would consider getting rid of the hot tub as the downstairs sleeping area smelled of hot tub like I was sleeping in a pool area. Parking area is scary as a large car sticks out in the road, fortunately ours were small and we parked right up to the garage. Owner had their own set of signs inside the house that went against what the property management info was. Also if providing a washer/dryer would have been nice to have laundry detergent. We had a toddler with us and needed to change their bedding/clothes fairly often due to potty training and only detergent available was the small packet in the Vacasa box that was gone after 1 washing. We were there for 3 nights, 4 days. Had no problem bringing our own but the amenities page said nothing about whether there was any on site to use. Since the property borders other private properties it would have been nice to know what the rules of walking on the beach were other than when low tide was out. Property needs TLC cleaning.

Wonderful beach house

My friends and I stayed her late Sept/early October. It was very clean and the photos represented the property well. The house had plenty of room and lots of useful things for the kitchen. A couple of the challenges we experienced was the WiFi. It did not work as per the instructions, it was spotty the whole time, and I phoned for support, but they didn’t have a solution. We then used the spa, which was really nice…until the basement smoke alarm kept going off. We had all the fans on, windows open - and it kept going off. So that cut out using it again - bummer. The bigger disappointment, was that I contacted the property management prior to my rental date and asked about the patio furniture being on the deck and was told it would all be there. It was not. We were only left with 4 chairs. No nice chase lounges or table and other chairs - that was not out. It would have been nice to have had more options for enjoying the deck and beach views.

A wonderful weekend away!

My family and I had such a fabulous time at this house! The interior is adorable and the view is amazing! This area of Whidbey is so quiet and the beach is so secluded it feels like a private island! The amenities were great and we were impressed by how many towels were available. Also plenty of board games and reading material available! All five of us would highly recommend staying here!

Mom's Weekend

This house was great for a mom's weekend getaway! The deck was perfect for lounging in the sun. The kitchen was stocked. The hot tub was very comfortable. Best part was being right on the beach. We were able to walk out very far due to low tide. Overall, I would highly recommend and will return myself!

Great place!

This place is amazing. The deck and view are wonderful, kitchen is well stocked, master bed was extremely comfortable and the place is very clean. No complaints here. I would definitely stay here again.
