Welcome to our lovely Poconos River House located in Saw Creek Estates! The perfect escape for your family with fantastic amenities right here in the community and close proximity to so many Poconos attractions! We are located on the edge of the community on a dead end street with a flowing stream in the back, which allows for a secluded and tranquil getaway

The Space

Gorgeous 4 bed, 2.5 bath with beautiful deck overlooking stunning Saw Creek! Fabulous raised screened porch lifts you into the surrounding woods. Downstairs game room features 70” flatscreen movie room, 2-3 person infrared Sauna, digital pinball, ping pong, foosball and more! Large deck overlooks the river and fire pit. Kitchen is well equipped for chefs and bakers! All while hearing the the comforting sounds of the stream. Amenities include:

Excellent for a wind down or a full on adventure!

Great for the kids and adults alike, this is a true family getaway. Have babies? We have a HIGHCHAIR and Pack N Play available for them as well!

Upon booking you will receive rental agreement document and tenant information document that need to be completed for access to the community as well as a copy of the primary renter's ID. Please contact us with any questions at any time!

Some things you must acknowledge before booking:

No large parties or gathering, 10 person maximum.

No fireworks / No ATVs allowed in community.

Be aware that the property is in Pocono forest & mountain terrain. It’s beautiful and we love it but it’s not your typical manicured suburban backyard. The yard is hilly and rocky. There will be insects outside. On occasion they may make their way inside. These are expectations and will not warrant refunds. Please keep doors closed to help prevent this.

Area is moderately hilly. You must be confident in yourself and your vehicle, especially in snow season.

4 car maximum in driveway, no street parking. Driveway is sloped as we are a hillside house. AWD recommended in winter.

No outdoor amplified music, please respect our neighbors

For property has 4 outdoor security cameras and 1 inside the private locked garage that are recording. Audio is not recorded.

All community amenities are use at your own risk!

Please at the end of your stay just make sure all dishes are cleaned or in running dishwasher and remove all trash from house and deposit in community dumpster. Trash can never be left outside to prevent problems with wildlife.

Community amenity availability is subject to change and is outside the control of the host. Community amenities are an enjoyable perk to the area, but refunds will not be given for amenity related changes that the host has no control over.

One night stays are charged additional $50 community registration fee.

Early noon check-in MAY be available for $35, please contact the host or manager if interested! :) Same for late check-out.

Fantastic Getaway

This property exceeded our expectations. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house had everything we needed to make for a great stay. We enjoyed it so much and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway in the Bushkill area.

Great last minute getaway

We had a wonderful, last minute long weekend getaway. Ryan was fantastic with communication making our last minute trip possible. The property was clean and relaxing. Would love to go back again.

Xmas Getsway!

We had an amazing time. We wished we stayed longer to enjoy it more. The family enjoyed nearby slopes for winter activities and cooked all weekend! The backyard was lovely and we loved hearing the creek.

I can't recommend this property enough! The home was exceptionally clean. It was spacious and comfortable for 7 adults. Everything we needed was at this home. The owners were very nice and gave us a lot of helpful information. The location is beautiful. I would give it more than 5 stars if possible!

Get away!

Everything was great! The house was clean and well appointed. Sitting on the screened porch was my favorite-deer in the backyard and the creek down the hill. We just loved it! Ryan was always available to answer questions or just checking in to see if we needed anything. It deserves more than 5 stars!!

The best rental I've stayed in

The home was clean and welcoming. Everything was as described; nothing broken or lacking in any way! The weekend we went was too windy for a fire and we were sad that the falls were closed. BUT, the home was wonderful!

Absolutely beautiful home

Absolutely perfect home! Vanessa was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions prior to our arrival. The home was decorated very lovely and the bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. We loved the ping pong table downstairs and enjoyed the fire pit outside by the water. The screened in deck was a wonderful addition especially in the morning to have breakfast and listen to the running water. We will certainly return in the future.

Great Relaxing Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Expectations were exceeded! The property is really nice and in a lovely location. The sound of the water rolling by can be heard throughout the house! The game room downstairs was a blast for the kids. Everyone slept well (the beds are really comfy!). Ryan and the property manager, Vanessa, were VERY easy to contact with any questions and checked in multiple times to make sure everything was in order. Highly recommend. The amenities in the community are great and the location is perfect for hiking and exploring the area!

Saw Creek

Nice location and layout of the home. The basement game room is a great feature, although the game boy did not work and the foosball table is beginning to deteriorate (still very useable). The televisions in every room are nice, but none of them have cable, only streaming service is available, which can be a challenge for the casual viewer like me. Fire pit in backyard is fun. A couple dirty pans in the kitchen, but I suppose that type of thing can get overlooked on occasion. We liked the setting, the Saw Creek development. Came there to enjoy the outdoors and this home allowed us to do that. Property manager Vanessa was very responsive.

Really enjoyed this property for a multi-family vacation. Pros: the kids waded in the creek every day - so great to have it in the backyard. Access to multiple pools. Game room downstairs was a hit, and would be even better if you're traveling with teens or tweens. Close to Bushkill Falls and Delaware Water Gap. Vanessa was very responsive. Cons: checking in at the gate is a pain. By the end of the week, we were trying really hard to send only one car out of Saw Creek Estates only once a day. Long, slow-moving lines to get back in. Vanessa was a big help when my name somehow dropped off the registered guest list. More things are closed or limited hours due to COVID, so be flexible on what you do when.

Thanksgiving in the Poconos

3 generations, 3 families, from 3 states met up at this cozy home for Thanksgiving. We brought a turkey pan & some aluminum containers for cooking the big things but the kitchen was very well stocked for everything else. There were even some child proof locks available for the kitchen cabinets which came in handy with 2 toddlers.Grandmom & Papa P had the master bedroom on the main floor. Our kids & grandkid’s had the upstairs. There is also a half bath on the main floor which was awesome. We spent most of our time on this level even though there is great basement with games & an additional tv room. The wood burning fireplace in the living room was a bonus & came in handy. We did not get to enjoy the outside area due to the weather. Raining one day and below freezing all week. The fire pit area by the river looks amazing. There is a screen room off the dining room with a heat lamp. If the temps were in the 50-60’s that would have been a cool place to hang out. We did use this porch as an extra fridge for our drinks & coolers:)And there is a community center with a gym, a must for the men in this family. That was perfect. Our older grandkids, 5 & 8 really enjoyed the indoor pool.It was a great holiday spent with family. Lots of fun, food & great memories created. I definitely recommend this home for family fun. Great place & location.

Enchanting Getaway in the Heart of the Poconos

Upon arrival, I immediately felt at ease. The residence is impeccably maintained, cozy, and equipped with all the necessities for a remarkable stay. Now, let's talk about the creek – it's like stepping into a scene from a fairy tale. The gentle flow of the water creates a serene ambiance, making it the perfect spot for relaxation and reflection. And the amenities? They've left no stone unturned. From the amazing game room to the expansive kitchen accessories, every detail has been carefully considered to ensure maximum comfort and enjoyment. But perhaps the highlight of my experience was the evenings spent gathered around the fire pit. There's an undeniable magic to be found in the simplicity of roasting marshmallows with our kids. I must also commend the owners for their exceptional hospitality and prompt responses to any inquiries. In conclusion, this Poconos retreat far exceeded my expectations. Family Summer Vacation

Communication was great with the owner. The house was very clean! Pictures were very accurate and the house looked even better in person. The view of the stream was amazing! We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the screened porch listening to the wonderful flow of the water. One morning, we were even visited by a couple sweet deer! The kitchen was very well equipped as we made family breakfasts and dinners just about every day. We used Instacart to stock up on food - I highly recommend that service! There was plenty of seating for all nine of us at the dining table. After dinner, the young adults really enjoyed the game room in the lower level. They loved the huge TV and the ping pong table! They played board games and we could hear them laughing and having fun! It was great that they could have their privacy and just hang out together. The outdoor pools and basketball courts were great! We had a couple rainy days, so we really enjoyed the indoor pools and hot tubs! Two of the nights, we used the firepit and made smores! It was just beautiful and peaceful just sitting and talking around the fire. On the last day, the kids took a ride to Camelback Outdoor water park and they had a absolute blast! We've been doing the Jersey Shore for many years and decided to try something different this year. We are so happy we did! My sons (16 and 20) said this was the best family vacation we've ever taken! Looks like we'll be coming back to the Poconos next year!

We had an amazing time on our family vacation. The beds are super comfortable and the property boasts everything you need. We loved the fire pit and meals on the screened in porch. The beautiful stream was a draw from morning till night. So much to do in the area. The owners are amazing and super willing to help with any questions. They went above and beyond!

We really enjoyed our stay. His directions to the property and procedure to unlock the front door was very easy to understand. We had a problem with the YouTubeTV. The account was logged off when we arrived and Ryan was quick to help fix the situation. He checked in every few days in the VRBO app to make sure everything was going well. We would stay here again.

We are hardworking parents that met in NYC. After living in Brooklyn for some time our family got bigger and we moved to the burbs. We finally have a getaway of our own and we are happy to share it with you!

Why they chose this property

We are both nature and wildlife lovers and wanted to share this passion with our young children. I (Ryan) grew up on my grandparents' lakehouse cottage and have always been looking for something similar for my children to experience. The whole Poconos area and particularly this house with the flowing stream and mountainous terrain are so appealing to us. There is always a sense of adventure in the air!

What makes this property unique

The stream takes center stage and the elevated views of it from most rooms in the house are to die for. The private community with multiple pools, lakes and ski slopes makes this property a slam dunk for raising our children with fun and unique experiences that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
