Enjoy a weekend getaway or long relaxing vacation in this lovely family home that will leave you feeling disconnected from everyday life. This waterfront cabin with spectacular view is situated on a private dead end dirt road. Conveniently located within minutes to major roadways, golf, skiing, shopping and area attractions. This home is steps away from the Bushkill River where you can swim, tube, or fish in the trout stocked creek. If you are looking to enjoy the natural beauty of nature in a unique modern home—you have found it!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash dishes and store away in proper place.
If towels were used please leave on bathroom floor to avoid ruining wood floors.
Turn off all electronics. Close and lock all windows, doors. Summer months turn off AC/Winter months set heat to 55 for baseboards and Carrier units to 63.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Pets must be cleaned and on a regular tick/flea regimen. Pets are not allowed to lay on any furniture. 2 pet maximum, $60 fee is per pet.
Bath towels are not included. Towel service is available for $50. If you use any bath towels in the home you will be charged the fee.
NO FIREWORKS ARE PERMITTED. No helium balloons No large gatherings No smoking inside the home Holiday stays require a 3-night minimum

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful. The house is as described and as pictured. The house was clean and very comfortable for our family of 4. Our kids (7 and 9) had a great time fishing in the creek and hanging at the fire pit at night. We look forward to coming back.

The cabin was immaculate! There was plenty of space for sleeping, relaxing, and just hanging out to enjoy time with family! Pictures cannot do this cabin and its surroundings justice! The road leading to the cabin is like a beautiful nature trail next to the scenic stream. We actually took a relaxing walk on this road and it was so peaceful. The surrounding houses are spaced apart perfectly so you don’t feel isolated but have plenty of trees and breathing room in between. The deck is a nice size and overlooks the creek as well as the mountain and woods behind. Communication with owner was excellent! My husband, our teens and border collie all had a very peaceful and relaxing time!

Perfect for short stays

Great spot located down an old road in the woods. Perfect for friends or family getaway with Lake a stone's throw away. Nice outdoor areas include BBQ area and fire pit. Would stay again for sure.

Amazing cabin

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The location was perfect with the river across the street, spent lots of time relaxing there. Close to Bushkill falls. Only regret we didn't stay longer. We'll be back again.

Great Stay

The house is clean and well kept and was great for a ski weekend at Shawnee. The host was very responsive and proactively reached out. The only issue we had was that they the loft was a bit warm for sleeping at night.

Relaxing Getaway in the Woods

We loved staying in this cabin! Everything was perfect from the outdoor deck and fire pit to the cute and well-kept inside of the cabin. We especially loved listening to the river as we slept. It was so peaceful! We would definitely recommend this cabin. You will not be disappointed!

Lovely creek side cabin

Peaceful cabin by the Bushkill. Comfortable, clean cabin with full kitchen amenities. Great eating space with dining table, butcher block, and deck table on spacious deck with view of woods and creek. Good lighting in living space. Very comfortable king sized bed in master bedroom; wonderful to leave windows open to hear the running water. Creek side seating was peaceful for reading a book, relaxing. Our dog loved the creek. My husband enjoyed fishing.

Our first vacay

We enjoyed our stay in Poconos. Nature was beautiful. Wawa, Mcdonald, family dinner,foodtown groceries everything is cca15min distance. Me and my fiance visited 3 waterfalls (Resica,Bushkill and Dingmans falls, plus Indian Museum and the Frazetta art museum. The cabin was cute and cozy . In the future we're thinking return to go back;). Only one think negative was direction strictly to the cabin but thanks to Vanessa we found it. !!! ;)

Beautiful area; a few downsides

We loved the property. Beautiful area. The bumpy road was horrendous. Description of house describes bumpy, dirt road. The bumpy road to the house was about a mile long and not what you want if you have any kind of back issues. The road has so many potholes and is very narrow. We felt like our car was being damaged every time we drove on it. Water pressure in bathroom was so weak we had trouble getting washed and getting shampoo out of hair. Water in bathroom had funny smell… we think due to minerals in the water. Kitchen water was fine. Reminder: no A/C, dishwasher, washer or dryer. We enjoyed using the fire pit to make s’mores. If you go in the summer, buy inner tubes in advance if you want to use the creek. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, etc… Driveway is extremely steep. One entrance to this road is closed. To access the driveway, we needed to turn around in front of neighbors house where road was a little wider. Neighbor complained to property manager and we were told not to turn around there.

Most relaxing getaway

My husband and I were looking for a place to relax away from NYC but only a few hrs away from home and this was the perfect one. The cabin was exactly as seen on the photos. It was clean and spacious with modern appliances. The scenery was beyond beautiful. We had front clear view of the Bushkill river and only took us a few minutes to walk to water to dip our feet. The running peaceful river water, birds, and tree leaves can be heard at all times. We were able to see a beautiful sight of a family of deer cross the river and fish jump in and out of river. The place has a big deck with patio table and plenty of chairs to eat and relax, a BBQ grill, and a fire pit which we used to make s’mores. The inside has a big dining table, two big couches, smart TV to connect to internet and watch Netflix, a clean open kitchen, and a modern fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with pots and pan, dishes, bowls, and cutlery. The owner checked in on us a few times to make sure we were doing ok which is great cause it made us feel safe. While there we were able to visit Bushkill Falls which was an amazing experience. There are plenty of places to eat out and buy groceries about 20min from place. I would recommend to bring plenty of bug spray and citronella candles because you are surrounded by a lot of trees and near water which attract many mosquitoes and other flying insects. Also recommend you bring your throw blankets as it does get cool in the night. One more thing which is really important is to ensure you get as much groceries as you can to eat in because the way in and out of the pathway to the cabin is very rocky and is really only one way to get there by following the owners driving directions. I highly recommend this place and look forward hopefully come back in fall.
