Welcome to Seven Pines Cabin, a spacious yet cozy retreat nestled in the beautiful Vallecito Lake Resort Valley. With easy year-round access and an ideal location near the marina, hiking trails, general stores, and local restaurants, this cabin makes the perfect home-base for your mountain adventures in every season.

Inside, you'll find warm, inviting spaces. Anchored by a stunning two-sided rock fireplace that connects the living area, dining room, and kitchen. Perfect for gathering with family and friends. The great room features soaring vaulted ceilings and large windows that bring the surrounding woods right into your living space, creating a peaceful, cabin-in-the-forest atmosphere.

Step outside to enjoy the large front yard, spacious deck, BBQ grill, and outdoor dining area. The heated two-car garage includes a ping pong table for a little friendly competition.

Whether you're spending your days on the lake, exploring nearby trails, or simply relaxing by the fire, Seven Pines Cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and rustic charm for an unforgettable mountain getaway.

NO PETS: This home is NOT pet friendly. Owners are very allergic to dogs, so we cannot make any exceptions.

LOCATION: In the heart of the Lake Vallecito recreation area, you are near the marina, hiking, biking and ATV trails, fishing, hunting, ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling - the San Juan wilderness area is at your doorstep! Vallecito also has a few restaurants and general stores. Appx 25 miles to downtown Durango and 50 miles to Purgatory Ski Resort.

COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

GOOD TO KNOW:
The fireplace in the Great Room is operational; the fireplace in the bedroom is NOT operational.
This home has parking for 3 vehicles.
During winter storm events 4WD is required.
There are 3 ring cameras on the outside of the home facing the driveway, back porch and walkway to front door.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

VRC CANCELLATION POLICY: If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
