Delightful hosts, beautiful property with fabulous ocean view, plentiful wildlife, and great location for access to several state parks, Mendocino, Fort Bragg, and Anderson Valley wineries. The home was well furnished, very clean, and comfortable.

This is a lovely, well designed and carefully furnished house. The location is quiet and peaceful, but very close to town. The views are just stunning. It's quiet unique among offerings on the coast.

Highly recommend staying at Bauhaus! Perfect getaway for two people looking to unwind/unplug and reconnect. Perfect location: very close to town but felt miles away. Enjoy unparalleled views of the ocean from the deck, living room, kitchen, or bedroom (with the most comfortable bed ever). Jay was an exceptional and thoughtful host. Will be returning in the future!

A clean, cozy, place. Perfect for two people. A rainy, cold week, but we still hiked (thanks to the host's great recommendations) and explored Mendocino and read books in front of the fireplace.

The Bauhaus is a special place. In a clearing in the woods overlooking the beautiful northern California coastline, this house has been lovingly curated with quality, comfortable, timeless furniture and accessories. The kitchen was well appointed with quality appliances. Everything in the house was immaculate. The deck has various seating areas, all taking advantage of that glorious view. We watched a pygmy owl hunt from a nearby pine. Then at night, we watched the stars and saw the Milky Way-- so amazing!Jay was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. All the directions to the house and through the security gate were very clear and easy to follow.We loved our stay and highly recommend the Bauhaus!

Gorgeous!

This is the second time we have stayed at Jays place in Little River and it lived up again. Surrounded by beautiful views on an absolutely serene property. Bauhaus is the perfect getaway!

Amazing Getaway

My wife and I had a fantastic time at this Little River getaway. Jay is such a fantastic and accommodating host who goes above all standards in ensuring our comfort. Amazing stay, didn't want to leave!

Beautiful house set on a hill back from the highway with continuous ocean views. Property is very isolated and you won't have anyond else encroaching on your view or space. Great peaceful spot to get away from everything and enjoy nature. Host very friendly and communicative, made great suggestions. Hope to be back!

Amazing Stay

This place is a must stay if you’re visiting the Mendocino area. It’s close enough to everything without feeling like it. The house is well designed and the views are beautiful. Waking up and having the windows full of trees and ocean was the amazing. Jay, the owner was helpful and communicated everything we needed to know. We will definitely make it a point to come back in the future.

Peaceful Respite

The pictures and descriptions for this wonderful home are understated. This peaceful and private home was clean and had everything we needed and more. The views and sunsets were beautiful. . . especially from the bench on the bluff. And the patio with the firepit was an extra bonus for enjoying smores. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home.

The ocean view from this property is stellar and relaxing. We were lucky enough to see whales spouting! We had a very comfortable stay there, the hosts are so nice and we would love to return soon!

Amazing view!

We really enjoyed our three-night stay. Panoramic, unobstructed views of the ocean and coastline from living room, kitchen area and master bedroom, and the deck. Furnishings are new and nice. Bed and all furniture are very comfortable and everything worked well -TV, gas fireplace, appliances, and Bluetooth speaker. The shower wasn't as hot as we like and Jay and Rob we're quick to turn up the temperature on the hot water heater and everything was great. They're both friendly and very easy to work with. Very quiet and peaceful environment.
