South Beach Dog-friendly Waterfront Villa

Welcome to “The Lucky Dolphin”, an end unit waterfront villa in South Beach/Sea Pines ideally located for walking to the beach or watching dolphins, pelicans, and ducks right on Braddock Cove. This spacious home has all the bells and whistles: large living room with views of the cove and lots of seating; beverage center; dining with sliders to shady private porch; fully equipped kitchen with everything the chef needs; laundry with full size washer and dryer.

This dog-friendly villa has very comfortable sleeping accommodations with large master king bedroom, en-suite full bath (tub/shower) and double closets. From the private balcony, you have spectacular views all the way out to Calibogue Sound. The second bedroom sleeps 3 in a comfy bunk bed with double bed below twin and a twin bed and also has full bath (shower) en-suite.

When it’s time for fun, just an 8-10 min stroll takes you to the wide white sands of South Beach. Be on the lookout for sea stars and shells! Play tennis or pickleball (12 new courts) at the South Beach Racquet Club just down the street. The South Beach Pool recently remodeled is available as a guest for a small fee.

The Salty Dog is so close, as well as novelty shopping and boat tours right at the marina. Or launch your SUP or kayak right off the dock onsite and paddle right out the cove to the sound.

Sea Pines resort has a beautiful beach club, several restaurants, golf courses, horseback riding, nature preserves, and miles of bike trails. With so many activities right at your fingertips, you will want to stay here over and over again. Many of our guests return each year.

Best location on Hilton Head! Short stroll to beach, pickleball, South Beach marina and Salty Dog restaurant. Our dogs loved the private patio and the kitchen was completely equipped for cooking. Lots of seating for guests and dining. Being an older property, it “lives” large. When family came to visit, we slept 7 comfortably. Best of all, the host was so responsive! We loved our stay here and plan to come again as soon as we can!

If you are looking for a terrific place to stay in Sea Pines, this villa is it. We've vacationed in Sea Pines for 41 consecutive years and this is far and away our favorite place.The location near South Beach village is hard to beat. You can walk to dining, shopping and the Salty Dog Cafe in minutes. The villa is spacious and well appointed. And the view of Braddock's Creek from the deck is simply sensational!George (the owner) is super responsive, very personable and a downright pleasure to speak with! Highly recommend staying in this property!

Great water view. Very clean unit. Was able to bring our dog with no hassles or excessive fees. Location is within walking distance of the Salty Dog and about a 1/4 mile walk to south beach access. Host was exceptional and responded to door issue within seconds. Issue was easily resolved and did not affect out stay. Only drawback is that the unit is very old and the furniture is dated. If your looking for a great easy getaway where you don't have to stress over scraping a wall then this is your place. If you want a pristine rental then look elsewhere. I would give the rental a 5 but the unit needs some love to get that extra star.

Relaxing stay at South Beach

This townhouse was a perfect quick getaway for my daughter and me. Greg was very responsive and even allowed us to check in early. Although the weather didn't cooperate, it was so relaxing to watch the pelicans from the back porch.

Great place to stay on Hilton Head

The photos dont do this home justice at all. The home was beautifully kept, staged nicely and in the one of the most tranquil areas weve stayed on the island. You are withun walking distance to the Salty Dog, and the beach. Great walking and biking paths nearby. The entire area was quiet and we ebjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evening watching the jumping fish and the burds. We even saw a few deer outside the window in the evening. Great place to stay.

Nice Pet Friendly Place - Great Location

Nice pet friendly unit in South Beach that is close to the beach, Salty Dog and bike rentals. The back patio has a great view of the sound with comfortable seating. We enjoyed our stay and communication with the owner was great.
