Added a DVR in the Living Room. You can go out and enjoy the day at the beach and record your shows. Watch them later!

Come stay at our renovated holiday villa. There is nothing like staying in a place that has nice amenities. Downstairs we added another loveseat with a DVD/VCR player and a 19' flat screen TV (all new!). If you are watching something in the living room the kids can stay on the same floor and play games (GameCube) in the other room, off the kitchen. Very few villas have this extra TV/Study room - especially on the first floor. We also added GameCube with Games in this room! Prepare your meals and have the kids close by.

On the main floor, along with the above additional room, enjoy our beautifully decorated and furnished living room overlooking the Golf Course. Our Sleeper Sofa has a Queen size bed. Relax and fall asleep in our oversized comfy recliner! Relax to the sound of the Stereo with the 6 CD changer player or watch TV on a big set which has a DVD player. You may never want to leave this great comfy chair. There is also a desk area with a printer. Along with everything in our living room enjoy a lighted ceiling fan with remote control, for those of us that enjoy a little extra breeze on hotter days. The kitchen is fully stocked and has many new amenities. There is a half bathroom which has been renovated and updated. There is cable TV throughout and Broadband Wifi Internet Access!

Moving upstairs, enjoy the added room of a king sized bed in the master bedroom with another lighted ceiling fan with remote control (Ladies, this comes in very handy for me! The remote stays right by my nightstand. LOL). The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and a TV with a VCR player. The master bathroom has all new vanity, sink, faucet and mirror and updated to be a walk-in shower (no tub). The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, with a 19' Flat Screen TV and DVD/VCR player. Also, added a lighted ceiling fan. The 2nd bathroom upstairs has all new vanity, sink, faucet, new tub and mirror Also, there is a full sized washer and dryer upstairs.

There are a total of FOUR TV's in our villa - plenty of TV's to go around. If you don't want to watch TV, relax on the deck and watch the golfers play golf on the 7th hole. Have a BBQ with our new WEBER GAS GRILL and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the area. That's the life! Or, take the path to the beach, in the shade. Ride on our FOUR available bikes, walk or drive to the beach. Our villa is one of the closest villas to the beach. Everything is within a 5-7 minute walk!

Our porch closet has 4 bikes and pool floats and our beach locker (located at the Shipyard Beach Club) is fully stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards and many other beach toys / items. Our rear deck is furnished with a BBQ grill, table and chairs and has a view of the Golf Club's 7th hole tee box.

As per the rental agreement, there is a $250 cancellation fee, if canceled prior to 60 days or over from arrival date. Please consider trip insurance if you think you may need to cancel.

The Shipyard Plantation is a security patrolled, gated community with lighted walking / biking paths and golf courses throughout the property. Shipyard is nestled between Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes. It is only a few miles from the Harbour Town Lighthouse Marina and Golf Links. The Greens development (within Shipyard) is known for its close proximity to the renowned Van Der Meer Tennis Courts, tall shady trees and quiet and relaxing setting. Our Villa sports a beautiful view of the Shipyard Golf Course off the rear deck and is centrally located in The Greens development.

You are a 5-minute drive to Coligny Plaza (w/ over 70 shops / 14 restaurants / eateries) & Forest Beach and a 10-minute drive to the Shelter Cove Marina and the Sea Pines Harbour Town and South Beach Marinas.

Winter getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this villa! Claudia is a most attentive host. We have stayed in Shipyard for the past 6 years in various villas and this one was by far the most equipped. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil/ pots ect, the bikes are a real added bonus, and there are even all sorts of dog supplies. The location is absolutely ideal! We had such a fabulous time we are returning next year for a month!

Location is excellent. Golf course view. Very Nice Villa!! Comfortable and has everything you will need. SHIPYARD has the best location for everything and beach access. This Villa is SO CLOSE. TO THE BEACH.

Our family had a great time at the villa! 3rd time at HHI and it was the best time! The location is excellent, short walk to the beach, bike ride to Cologny plaza , and having bikes included is a huge plus!! The condo was clean and quiet, well stocked, everything was great! Excellent location and great property

The villa had everything that is needed. The bikes were good and very nice to have. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable. The location was great, close to the beach and to restaurants and shops. We used bikes primarily to get around.

We love location and love to walk our dogs. We have stayed before. It is comfortable, clean, basic, have everything you need. The bikes were good condition and we enjoyed them every day. We did not cook other than breakfast. The pool early May was quiet. Owner was very responsive. Would recommend.

Great location near the beach! Very quiet complex! Townhouse was nice, but could use some updating! More than enough space for us! Pool was very nice! Great to have bikes also! Would stay in this complex again!

Awesome place for Family & Dogs

2nd time we've stayed at this specific condo. 6th trip to Hilton Head in 6 years. This is our favorite location because of the ease of access to the beach and pool as well as being dog friendly. Fully stocked kitchen, gas grill, etc. make it feel like home. Never had an issue that the owner didn't immediately address. Definitely will stay here again next year!

Shipyard is in the middle of the island and so convenient to a diverse selection of shopping and other convenience stores. Everything you need for a family vacation. We plan to return.

HHI Family Beach Trip

This pet friendly townhome was everything it was advertised. Well stocked with a nice grill and patio looking onto golf course. Pool is beautiful and close to townhome. Nice amenities with bicycles and locker at beach area for your use with parking pass. Claudia was great with communication and any help when we needed it. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for Our Little Family

We had an amazing time in this Condo! Very close the beach and beautiful views of the golf course. The beach locker and shed were fully stocked with everything we needed to make this trip special. They had bikes, a cart, items to make sand castles for the kids, and plenty of beach chairs. It was very spacious and stocked with everything to make it feel like a home away from home. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back.

Great location and clean rental

The Greens 182 was clean upon arrival and was stocked with lots of bath towels, blankets and cleaning supplies/toilet paper/Kleenex. The furniture was clean and comfy. The beds were comfortable, and the ceiling fans were great in the summer heat. The back patio was convenient if you had a dog and the grill was clean and easy to use. The added beach parking pass, beach locker and bikes were a nice bonus that made the vacation better! The rental had an "older beach charm", which we appreciate when visiting HHI. I think the renovations to the kitchen will be a great addition! A Keurig coffee maker and a regular toaster would be great too! Overall, the rental was a fair price considering the location, size and extras provided. Shipyard is a great location on the island, close enough to Coligny to bike and loved the big trees and shade! We would recommend this rental when visiting HHI!

Perfect house, perfect location

We stayed (me, my husband, my daughter and my dog) in this beautiful house and beautiful plantation for 4 weeks. Claudia, the owner, is a perfect host, on top of everything. The house has everything you need, everything! Instructions everywhere. The carpet upstairs is clean and well maintened. The Lowe floor is a little old and the cleaning could be more accurate but nothing major. The appliances are old but work well. Staying in Shipiarard is like living in a fairytale!! I would totally come back again to Claudia’s house, no doubt at all.

A great week!

We had a wonderful time here. The location is near perfect. There is one condo complex closer to the beach by maybe ¼ of a mile, but we prefer The Greens for their golf course views and excellent pool. The condo was clean, and it is one of the best stocked VRBOs we have visited (pots/pans, silverware, mugs, wine glasses, pet toys! etc.). The locker located at the beach club is also very well stocked with everything you need to enjoy a day on the beach. Claudia was a perfect host with excellent communication. The only negative was the kitchen sink faucet could use some attention because you need to fiddle with the handle to get it in a position where it doesn’t leak, a minor inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again.

Best Location and Amenities

We throughly enjoyed staying at this property. Shipyard Plantation is an awesome location. The location of the condo was PERFECT for a short walk to the beach. In the description it says about a 10 minute walk and that is completely accurate. It was perfect for our little dog. If you aren't planning on bringing a dog, I wouldn't suggest this condo. It did have a little dog smell and there was a good amount of pet hair but it didn't really effect us since we had a dog. Future Guests with Pet Owners: This is a PERFECT place for you! They have a dog bed, toys and even poop bags if you forget to bring them. Notes to Owner: I would change out the pillows in the living room. They had stains on them so I didn't feel comfortable laying on them.

Claudia had it all

As described. Property is conveniently located near beach, shopping, tours, many other attractions. We've never had to travel more than 8 minutes from the condo in order to eat, shop or do any other activities. Host has really went above and beyond to make sure our every need was taken care of (even the baby/pet gate, beach bag etc.). Now, the only thing that I personally thought was not up to the same standard as the rest of the condo and amenities (this is just personal issue (read: OCD)), is that it really needed a fresh coat of paint (especially in the hallway around the skylight, this area was very very "discolored". However, the rest of my family did not find this to be a big deal and I would definitely rent this condo again.

Fabulous location!

Claudia's home is so comfortable and perfect for a get-away with our fur-babies! The home is well stocked and she has so many extras - bikes, dog bed, beach locker, baby gate. And it's hard to beat the location of about 1/2 mile easy walk to the beach. She was incredibly responsive when we had questions. We'd highly recommend and hope to return again soon!

Why they chose this property

We wanted a beach area without hurricanes. Somewhere that was known and not overpopulated. Somewhere were we can go and get away from things and not be on top of people. Enjoy the tranquility. And we found the place. We are very happy.

What makes this property unique

When our kids were teenagers we enjoy the fact that they can bike ride to the Plaza and have an ice cream cone. Or go to the store, without taking the car. We enjoy that we can have a 5 minute walk to the beach and take our dog. Also, that the kids can go to the beach without crossing a major street.
