Dortjes Wattenschipperhuus is since 1907 owned by our family. So headstrong as the landscape, with the rough wind and the gentle breezes, is the good soul of the house. With meticulous attention to detail, we have tried to capture Dortjes ties to the sea and nature, to make you feel Ostfriesland and the uniqueness of the Wadden Sea. The house is situated in close proximity to the sea. There are only a few steps to the sea wall, between the North Sea resort Norddeich and Greetsiel. Holidays in Norddeich means, regardless of the season, recreation, nature, tranquility, but also activities, experiences, wind, sun, beach and water, and more. An important part of a successful holiday is always the property during the most beautiful time of the year. Super Ferienhaus

Wir waren mit Freunden im Dortjes Wattenshipperhuus zu Gast. Ein schönes gepflegtes Ferienhaus, dass keine Wünsche offen lässt. Man muss nur wissen, dass man beweglich sein muss, da es doch etwas abseits ist. Aber die Ruhe und der Deich vor der Haustür ist einfach herrlich .

Urlaub direkt am Deich

Saubere Örtlichkeit mit allen nötigen Annehmlichkeiten. Leider sagten uns die Betten überhaupt nicht zu und wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen, ist aber eine persönliche Präferenz. Leider ist der direkte Zugang zum Deich nur mit Klettern über die Schutzzäune (soll die Schafe vor Wölfen schützen) möglich. Mit Kleinkind leider nicht so gut zu machen. Ca. 500 Meter vom Objekt gibt es aber einen befestigten Weg auf den Deich. Freunliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber.

Ein tolles Haus

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Urlaub in Dortjes Wattenshipperhuus genossen!

...hinterm Deich

Der Vogelgucker freut sich: Ein kurzer Gang vom Ferienhaus aus, und der Blick geht ins Wattenmeer. Es gibt entlang der ostfriesischen Küste nur wenige Orte, an denen sich die Vogelwelt zur Herbstzugzeit zahlreicher versammelt. Zwar gehen die Salzwiesen recht weit, so dass es für einen guten Blick ins Watt schon überdurchschnittlichen optischen Geräts bedarf, aber auch zwischen Queller & Co finden sich reichlich Limikolen, Enten etc.. Bei Sturm und Schietwetter freut man sich dann, dass es sich auch im Haus gut aushalten lässt. Zu anderen Jahreszeiten ist sicher auch der Garten sehr schön. Bei gutem Wetter überwiegt auf der Straße vor dem Haus die Zahl der Radfahrer definitiv die der Schafe auf dem Deich. Für uns war es das perfekte Quartier, um unserem ornithologischen Hobby nachzugehen und uns vor den Elementen zu verstecken, wenn am Himmel die Gänse seitwärts flogen statt geradeaus...

Superschöner Urlaub

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Wer Ruhe, Natur und frische Luft liebt der kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Die Unterkunft ist Top, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, man kommt rein und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Für ältere Kinder ist es etwas langweilig aber wir haben einfach viel unternommen. Es ist ziemlich weit draußen und Bäcker, Metzgerei und Co sind nicht ohne Auto erreichbar. Im großen und ganzen würden wir jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen.
